PSNStuff+ is Updated to v3.05.00 by Eminem451 for PS3 CFW Users

1w ago - Following up on the previous updates, today PlayStation 3 developer eminem451 has updated PSNStuff+ to v3.05.00 followed by v3.05.01 with the changes outlined below.

To quote: Hi guys, I've made new version of PSNStuff. Some bugs has been fixed, and new things has been added including some tools to create RAPs and C00 EDATs. Two version will be provided: X86 and X64.

Note:

  • Normal version will require .NET framework 4.0.
  • X64 works with .NET 4.5.
  • If your are using a 64 bit OS, use x64 version, or normal will start it automatically.
  • And as we are using free servers, there might be connection problems sometimes, just retry...

 

Sony Invites PlayStation Plus Users to Try Battlefield 4 Free on PS3

21w ago - Sony Battlefield Community Manager Jonas Elfving invites PlayStation Plus users to try Battlefield 4 for free on PS3 today!

To quote: Later today after the Store publish, PlayStation Plus members can download Battlefield 4 for free on PS3.

There's never been a better time for new recruits to jump in and join the all-out war. You'll get 168 hours with the entire experience, including 64 player all-out war in multiplayer, and the intense single-player campaign.

To jump on the bandwagon follow this quick start guide:

1. Navigate to PlayStation Store on your PS3.
2. Search for "BATTLEFIELD 4" and select Battlefield 4 Game.
3. Click "Full Game Trial."
4. Click "Download."
5. Download and install the trial. Please give it some time as Battlefield 4 is a big game with a lot of updates being constantly added.

When you're primed for battle, hop into a game of Conquest or Obliteration and get the feeling that you'll experience only in Battlefield.

See you on the Battlefield!

If any graphic designers out there are interested, simply reply to this thread and attach your badge submissions following the criteria below.

PS4 News User Rank Badge Criteria:

  • The badges should match the overall look of our Forums with a Sony PS4 theme.
  • The badges should be transparent to work with any color background (preferably in .png format but .gif is acceptable)
  • The badges should be no larger than approximately 125x25 pixels in width and height but can be a bit smaller.
  • Seeking (10) badges in total with the following labels on them: Registered, Contributor, Jr Member, Member, Sr Member, VIP Member, Moderator, Banned, Coder, and Developer.

PS4 Firmware Update Incoming, User Interface Improvement Rumored

36w ago - Today PlayStation 4 industry insider Tidux Tweeted that a PS4 Firmware update is incoming which reportedly will improve the User Interface with details below.

To quote: Well known industry insider, Tidux has teased some interesting update coming to PlayStation 4 in few days time. Via Twitter, Tidux hinted a brand new firmware for PlayStation 4 and also revealed some around Sony are indeed working on User Interface improvement for PlayStation 4.

When Tidux was asked, whether or not Sony's Tech support working on fan requested User Interface improvement? He replied: "Over 100 people working on the UI"

He later on hinted new PlayStation 4 firmware in testing phase: "All this testing is blowing my mind! #welcometothefuture #jit9 #fw* #PS4"

Tidux has a pretty solid track record of leaking information way before its official announcement, but still we advice our readers to wait for some official word from Sony on PS4 User Interface improvement and new firmware.
