Two New Zen Original Tables Coming to Zen Pinball 2 for PS4, PS3, PS Vita

Two New Zen Original Tables Coming to Zen Pinball 2 for PS4, PS3, PS Vita 50°
1w ago - Zen Studios Community Manager Bobby Loertscher announced today that two new Zen original tables are coming to Zen Pinball 2 for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: The Iron & Steel Pack, an exciting new pinball two-pack featuring a table based on our hit CastleStorm franchise as well as a Western-inspired table dubbed Wild West Rampage, is launching today for Zen Pinball 2, representing our first original Zen tables in three years!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, the PlayStation community, for providing us helpful feedback and letting us know what you'd like to see in Zen Pinball 2 on PS3, Vita and PS4. Simply said, your feedback and encouragement persuaded us to get back to original table development!

Each time we announce a new table, a flood of ideas come in from the community, so we took those ideas and ran with them. Now today, when the PlayStation Store updates, you will get to see those ideas come to life in the Iron & Steel pack.

Our last original themed table was Epic Quest, so returning to original themes was really fantastic for our development team. We had a great time taking your favorite parts of CastleStorm, including the fire-breathing dragon, the sheep-launching ballista, and even some tower defense elements from the original game...

Video: First Look: The World of Powers on PlayStation Network

Video: First Look: The World of Powers on PlayStation Network 250°
2w ago - Sony Executive Producer and Showrunner Charlie Huston shared a first look PSN video today at The World of Powers on PlayStation Network below.

To quote: I'm coming up on an anniversary.

Very soon I will clock my third full year of involvement with Powers. I'm not certain of the exact date, but that anniversary is going to hit almost exactly on the March 10th Powers premiere date. Let's hear it for synchronicity.

Here's another bit of synchronicity. Long before I became involved with Powers, years before I met Brian Michael Bendis or Michael Avon Oeming (I like that both those guys buck the single name branding trend by going with their full spread three-stack names.

I tried it, but my full name makes me sound like a reject from the Monty Python Upper Class Twit of the Year Award sketch), long before I had any involvement in TV as a business, lo those many years ago, I was given an opportunity to write some comic books.

Like any healthy geek introvert, I'd been a fan of comics as a kid and a teen, but as the years passed and I developed any number of unhealthy bad habits that distracted me from such things, my visits to the local shop diminished and, finally, disappeared.

Sony on PSN: Upgrade PSN Sub Accounts to Master Accounts

Sony on PSN: Upgrade PSN Sub Accounts to Master Accounts 700°
3w ago - Sony Network Entertainment VP Eric Lempel shared details today on how you can upgrade PSN Sub Accounts to Master Accounts below.

To quote: Starting today, PlayStation Network (PSN) users will gain the ability to upgrade a sub account to a master account. We're always listening to user feedback, and this is a feature that many of you have asked for.

You'll be able to upgrade an account first through the web and later through PlayStation 4. Instructions on how to start this process through the web can be found here.

In case you aren't familiar, sub accounts allow users under the age of 18 to access PSN while letting parents or guardians manage their online experience. A variety of PSN features can be limited through sub accounts including messages, monthly spending limits, and gameplay broadcasts.

Additional information is available on our Knowledge Center, here.

If you were on a sub account and turned 18 (Happy belated birthday!), you may want to upgrade to a master account to access the full feature set of PlayStation's online experience, including PlayStation Store.

Sony VP on PlayStation Network Outage, PSN Status Updates

Sony VP on PlayStation Network Outage, PSN Status Updates 750°
10w ago - Sony Consumer Experience VP Catherine Jensen shared details today on the PlayStation Network outage alongside PSN status updates below.

To quote: The video game industry has been experiencing high levels of traffic designed to disrupt connectivity and online gameplay.

Multiple networks, including PSN, have been affected over the last 48 hours. PSN engineers are working hard to restore full network access and online gameplay as quickly as possible.

From time to time there may be disruptions in service due to surges in traffic, but our engineers will be working to restore service as quickly as possible.

If you received a PlayStation console over the holidays and have been unable to log onto the network, know that this problem is temporary and is not caused by your game console.

We'll continue to keep you posted on Twitter at @AskPlayStation and we'll update this post once the problems subside.

Thanks again for your patience.

Update: PlayStation Network is back online (although some regions still are seeing 'Intermittent Connectivity' at this time).

As you probably know, PlayStation Network and some other gaming services were attacked over the holidays with artificially...
