250°
2d ago - Activision Games Blogger Scott Lowe officially announced that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havoc DLC is out now on PS4 and PS3 consoles!

To quote: Greetings, PlayStation nation! I am beyond excited to announce that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havoc DLC has arrived on PS4 and PS3, heralding the arrival of Exo Zombies, four new multiplayer maps, and the AE4 directed energy assault rifle.

Let's kick things off with Exo Zombies. With a celebrity cast including John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream), and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street), Exo Zombies takes a new spin on the zombie survival experience.

As four Atlas Corporation employees battling deadly hordes infected by a DNA bioweapon, players must survive the onslaught and unravel the mysteries of the outbreak in Exo Zombies' standalone story. But these aren't your run of the mill undead-armed with exoskeletons and unpredictable mutations, the enemies in Exo Zombies are faster and more lethal than ever before.

For a little friendly competition, there are also four new multiplayer maps to dive into:

Video: QBert Rebooted is Coming to PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita

850°
3w ago - LOOT Entertainment Product Manager Jason Sorensen announced today that QBert Rebooted is coming to PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms with a video trailer below.

To quote: Want to play one of the most well-known, bestselling games in the history of gaming? Q*Bert is back - for your PS4, PS3 and Vita.

The complete, original version of Q*Bert is only half of the equation. Gonzo Games, Sideline Amusements, Games Production Company, and we here at LOOT Entertainment are also bringing to PlayStation a completely reimagined Q*Bert game: Q*Bert Rebooted.

To keep it short and sweet: you get two great Q*Bert games (on all three PlayStation platforms) for the price of one.

So: how do you take such a classically perfect game design and successfully modernize it?

Instead of cubes, Q*Bert Rebooted features hexagons. That may not sound like a game-changer, but it is; suddenly, you get some really interesting level designs, especially later in the game.

In addition, there are new features, such as time and score challenges, new enemies with their own unique behaviors, new playable characters, power-ups, traps, and gem-collecting. Q*Bert Rebooted is the equivalent of your old backyard...

Quirky Puzzler King Oddball by 10Tons Ltd Hits PlayStation 3 Today

500°
4w ago - 10tons Ltd PR Coordinator Jaakko Maaniemi announced that their quirky puzzler King Oddball hits PlayStation 3 today!

To quote: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's King Oddball! The quirky physics puzzler that has charmed gamers on PS4 and Vita is making its way to PS3 today. It comes with a free trial, so you should really check it out!

As the title suggests, King Oddball is a bit weird. It's a physics-based puzzle game, but not like any you've played before. The gameplay is intensely skill based, and executed entirely with a single button. Here's how it works:

The titular King Oddball swings a rock with his tongue, back and forth, like a pendulum. When you hit X, the rock is released. The rock will carry whatever momentum it had at the exact moment you hit the button, so depending on your timing you'll get a mighty hurl or a delicate drop.

From then on it's all about the physics. Will you overshoot the tank? Will you just miss the helicopter? Your timing needs to be very, very good. And that only takes you through the levels where you have a couple of enemies to crush.

When there's a lot of enemies or structures to destroy, you need to layer in the puzzle part. You will get an extra rock if you squash three or more enemies with a single rock, or if you bounce...
