Rebug 4.65.2 PS2Emu PS2 Emulator Files Released by Habib (SMHabib)

9w ago - Following up on their previous updates, today PlayStation 3 developer Habib (aka SMHabib) released his Rebug 4.65.2 PS2Emu PS2 emulator files wishing the PS3 scene a Merry Christmas and Joonie86 the best of luck in using them to finish their next Rebug CFW (Custom Firmware) update.

I decided to finally let go the public side of ps3 scene. I'm going to share all the sht I have developed for Rebug 4.65.2. I wish Joonie best of luck for the release and i sure will guide where team is stuck.

It includes all the data modified and developed etc.

  • ps2emu/xxx includes the symbols for 4.65
  • ps2emu_gen465/main.c modified for 4.65
  • ps2emu_stage1_file modified for 4.65
  • ps2emu_stage2/xxx all the data for ps2emu.

The data also shows about the wireless sync feature.

stage0_base:

  • It is the payload i developed specifically for rebug 4.65.2
  • Its purpose is to do a check of cobra....

I didn't include this in my cfw because it gives you controller synch issue if controller not connected through usb cable.

Savedata, iso running etc are cool

1. Go to mmos and click on the zip provided up
2. It will ask you to install, say yes

Below are the details, to quote: With the recent release of Fatal Frame on PSN as a PlayStation 2 Classic, we reached out to Fatal Frame series director Makoto Shibata to share some thoughts on the inception of one of gaming's tensest, most atmospheric series.

The initial project kicked off under the "Project ZERO" codename when the PlayStation 2 development tools were first made available, back at the time.

Before the Fatal Frame project, I worked on the "Deception" series (aka Tecmo's Deception) which focused on coming up with a new, yet complex game system in order to broaden player experiences. This led us to transcending traditional game genres by combining the best parts of different game systems: action, adventure, puzzle and simulation genres, just to name a few.

When the PS2 hardware came out with dramatically improved graphical capabilities, we took a different approach by keeping the game system and play experience simple. We tried to emotionally reach out to players and get them to feel things they cannot actually see on screen.

100w ago - Following up on my Memory Card Converter v2.0 and Memory Card Converter v3.0 for PS3, today I present Memory Card Converter v3.5 for PS2Classics PS3 Command-Line GUI.

Fixes the major "Invalid" error, now most saves should work, except those with time stamp issues...

Let's get started.

COPY YOUR ORIGINAL SAVEDATA FROM THE PS3 -
1. Convert your game with PS2iso2pkg; REMEMBER THE GAME ID. That's how you find it on your storage media (PS2UXXXXX).
2. Under "Game", navigate to "Saved Data Utility (PS2)," and delete the savedata for your PS2 game.
3. Load your converted PS2Classic at least once on your PS3, then quit when you see the PlayStation 2 logo.

DO NOT SAVE ANY DATA TO THE "MEMORY STICK" WHILE IN-GAME, THIS IS CRUCIAL.
