Video: PlayStation 4 Hardware Glitch, PS4 Discs Eject from Neon Light

4w ago - Today Start Replay & Happi Campers (linked above) shared a video on YouTube of a PlayStation 4 hardware glitch present where PS4 discs eject from neon light as can be seen below.

According to Dalibor Bartos on YouTube, this behavior is normal who stated the following, to quote:

"This is normal behavior. PS4 uses capacitive 'touch' buttons, and the neon light ionize the air around or the induction of the HF voltage emitting from the light has made the PS4 believe that the button was pressed.

It is not a glitch, it's just how things work."

However, according to yewwowduck on YouTube: "An unintended outcome of an implementation that is not otherwise desired is, definitively, a glitch."

At the time of this writing, Sony has yet to officially comment on the matter.

4w ago - IGN Editor Marty Sliva has revealed the first 18 minutes of Bloodborne on PlayStation 4 in a PS4 video trailer below today!

To quote: The IGN First for February 2015 is Bloodborne, and I couldn't be more excited about that. As a huge fan of the Souls series, I jumped at the chance to helm this project.

In preparation for our month of coverage, we flew to Japan to visit the offices of From Software, as well as Sony Japan Studio, and let me tell you, we have so many awesome things in the works.

We're proud to kick off the month with the first 18 virtually uninterrupted minutes of Bloodborne.

I could gush on and on about how great the opening is, but honestly, the footage speaks for itself. The capture is from a slightly older build and the game is still under development, so definitely be aware of that if you notice a rough edge or two.

The rest of February is going to be packed...

4w ago - OSome Studio Creative Director and Co-Founder Ronan Coiffec announced today alongside a PS4 video trailer that Noir horror game White Night is coming to PlayStation 4 on March 3rd with details below.

To quote: Starting OSome Studio was a pretty frightening adventure in the beginning. I met Domenico Albani and Mathieu Fremont while employed together at Eden Games, where we worked on the fifth instalment of Alone in the Dark.

We all went our separate ways after that project finished, picking up experience at other studios, but there was always the feeling of "what if" in the back of our minds.

After a few more years of exhausting ourselves on blockbuster titles, the three of us took a step back and realized we each wanted to do something that would let loose our creativities and replenish our passions.

OSome Studio was founded to produce original, refreshing games with powerful and immersive environments. We didn't have much of a budget back then, but we shared a common vision for an original gaming experience and the will to make it a reality. It wouldn't be a big project, but it would be ours to own.

White Night is the product of that dream. Set in Boston in the 1930s, White Night is...

To quote from The Z: Release: ARK-2 eCFW & kernel mode exploit for PS Vita firmware 3.36!

Developer Qwikrazor has just released yet another kernel mode exploit for the PS Vita firmware 3.36. This enables you to use the ARK-2 eCFW on your PS Vita.

Before the questions start: This CAN NOT enable you to use or run the TN-V eCFW until Total_Noob himself updates it. Since TN is currently very busy, this won't happen in near future, so stay with ARK-2.

This will also not enable you to use the PS1loader, PKG Installer or Webkit exploit. Things don't work like...
