L.A. Noire PS3 Downloadable Content is Now Available on PSN 500°
196w ago - Today Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has announced that L.A. Noire PS3 downloadable content (DLC) is now available on PSN.

To quote: In our excitement, we accidentally left the L.A. Noire DLC out of the Store post last night. If you're enjoying L.A. Noire anywhere near as much as I am, you'll be happy to know that a number of DLC options are now available on the Store, including the PS3-exclusive Consul's Car pack-in voucher.

Rockstar had this to say: Rockstar Games have announced the full details of L.A. Noire's extensive list of downloadable content. Starting today, and continuing through the summer months, several standalone cases, collectibles and challenges will be released via PlayStation Network, including all of the pre-order exclusive unlockable bonus content as well as a free downloadable weapon.

Starting today, players will be able to purchase the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass, a new way to pre-order and purchase DLC that gives players access to all of the upcoming downloadable content for L.A. Noire, available for a limited-time (until June 16th) discounted price of just $9.99 on PlayStation Network.

Then, later this summer, look for two...

Video: MotorStorm Apocalypse PS3 DLC Launches Today on PSN

Video: MotorStorm Apocalypse PS3 DLC Launches Today on PSN 50°
203w ago - Evolution Studios Games Director Matt Southern has posted up a video announcing that MotorStorm Apocalypse PS3 DLC launches today on PSN.

To quote: The timing of MotorStorm Apocalypse hasn't exactly been ideal.

I remember waking on the morning of the Friday, near the end of what was already a pretty heavy week gearing up for European release, switching on the news and being stunned. My first thought wasn't for the game, but for our Japanese Producer and his family.

Just a short while after the devastation he emailed me to apologise for having to suspend the ongoing tests for MotorStorm! That sums him up, and his fellow countrymen - courageous, unflappable and so gracious, even in the face of such tragedy. It really put everything into perspective. We did the right thing when we decided to delay it.

Now that we're available in Europe (and soon to be released in the US), it's time to make good on our promises to everyone already playing the game and start unveiling some of our add-ons. I hate calling it 'DLC'; it makes it sound like a spreadsheet template or something.

First-up, you've got two weeks from today to pick up the ultimate 'Stormer status symbol: the Supercar...

Mushroom Wars Online DLC on PSN Today, Tournament Incoming 50°
204w ago - Creat Studios Marketing and PR Coordinator Bill Fryer has announced that Mushroom Wars Online DLC hits PSN today, and that a developer tournament is also incoming.

To quote: Bill from Creat here, and I'm excited to announce our US release of the Mushroom Wars Online DLC on April 5th for $2.99.

The original Mushroom Wars is available on PSN for $9.99.

The original Mushroom Wars is a fast-paced and accessible RTS, with a quaint, anime-inspired visual style in which players send their cute armies into battle, upgrade their mushroom bases, improve their weaponry and fight skirmishes in close-quarter maps.

Mushroom Wars Online introduces several expansions to these features, the most exciting being the ability to spread their fungal domination into the online realm with four-player online multiplayer support.

Along with the addition of online multiplayer support, Mushroom Wars Online introduces a number of new features to the original title, including local multiplayer support for up to four players. Players can enjoy custom matches against online friends for training and entertainment, or watch others battle from the sidelines to hone their strategic skills....

Video: Killzone 3 Steel Rain PS3 DLC Pack Hits PSN Tomorrow 50°
204w ago - Guerrilla Games Producer Aryeh Loeb has confirmed that the Killzone 3 Steel Rain PS3 DLC Pack is coming to PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Back in February, we revealed that we were working on a brand-new DLC Pack for Killzone 3 called Steel Rain.

Today, we are proud to announce that the pack is finished and slated for a PlayStation Store release on tomorrow, 6 April.

Steel Rain consists of two explosive new multiplayer maps inspired by locations from the single player campaign: Junkyard, a Guerrilla Warfare map which sees Jetpacks and Exoskeletons clashing in a rain-drenched junk processing facility; and Stahl Arms, a uniquely styled Warzone map set on the factory floor of one of Helghan's largest weapons manufacturing plants.

The map pack will be available from the PlayStation Store April 6th for €4.99. PlayStation Plus members get a special treat: they can download the Steel Rain pack for free for the whole of April.

Check out the footage from both maps and prepare to take the fight to two new fronts.

New Super Stardust HD PS3 DLC: Impact Mode is Hitting PSN

New Super Stardust HD PS3 DLC: Impact Mode is Hitting PSN 200°
206w ago - SCEA Producer Daimion Pinnock has detailed some new Super Stardust HD PS3 DLC dubbed Impact Mode that is hitting PSN this Spring.

To quote: We'd like players around the world to know that we've created a new game mode for Super Stardust HD that'll be out on PSN this Spring - it's called the "Impact" mode.

We want to thank all the fans around the world for your continued support - it has made Super Stardust HD a top selling PSN exclusive and enabled us to keep creating new content for the game even now over three years after its release.

2008 saw the release of the "Solo Pack," offering new game modes such as Endless, Survival, Bomber and Time Attack. That was followed by the multiplayer "Team Pack" featuring split-screen co-op and deathmatch modes for up to 4 players.

Additionally, the game then broke new ground by becoming the first ever PlayStation 3 game to feature Trophies.

In 2010 we gave players the exciting option to experience the game in real 3D, one of the few of its kind as it creates 120 unique frames per second.

Now in 2011 with the new Impact mode add-on, Super Stardust HD continues to be the most comprehensive shooter experience available.

The Impact mode plays on and twists the game rules -...
