Freedom Wars is Launching on October 28th for PlayStation Vita 100°
28w ago - Sony Product Manager Ken Chan announced today that Freedom Wars is launching on October 28th for PlayStation Vita with details below.

To quote: Earlier last week, Justin from PlayStation.Blog was kind enough to share his personal experiences with the 4-player co-op mode with Freedom Wars.

While most of you really enjoyed the video, some of the repeated questions and comments from the thread included:

• What's up with the release date?
• Where are the pre-order DLCs?
• How do I get the pre-order if I purchase from PlayStation Store?

Well, we're here to answer those questions today!

To begin, we are incredibly thrilled to officially announce that Freedom Wars will launch in North America on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 for $29.99.

For those looking for a head start in reducing your sentence within the world of Freedom Wars, our participating retailers are offering the same pre-order DLC as the original Japan release. These items include:

29w ago - Valkyrie Entertainment President Joakim Wejdemar shared a video trailer today announcing Guns Up is coming to PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms!

To quote: Greetings, Commander. Welcome to GUNS UP!, our free-to-play action strategy game for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita that puts you in the role of a General deploying units to the battlefield and working your way toward annihilating your enemy and destroying their base.

This is no walk in the park, though - you're going to need to manage your resources to ensure that you can send the right troops for the right job.

Snipers, heavy machine gunners, RPG carriers, armored vehicles, and even air strikes are there as part of your strategy, so choose wisely. You'll also use your resources to build and protect your base from other players' invasions.

Although GUNS UP! is our first full title, we're no stranger to the industry. We've spent the last decade providing high quality art work for other developers on titles such as inFAMOUS Second Son and League of Legends.

We're really excited to bring our vision of action and strategy together in a way...

Video: The Hungry Horde Devours PlayStation Vita This Year

Video: The Hungry Horde Devours PlayStation Vita This Year 50°
29w ago - Nosebleed Interactive's Andreas Firnigl shared a PS Vita video trailer today confirming that The Hungry Horde devours PlayStation Vita this year.

To quote: Wow. We're featured on the PlayStation.Blog! I'm Andreas Firnigl, Director at Nosebleed Interactive.

We're a small development studio based in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East of England, and the reason we're surprised we're on here is that we've come rather a long way in the last couple of years.

We'd like to introduce you all to "The Hungry Horde." Like all good ideas, it's a pretty simple concept. You start the game off controlling a couple of wayward zombies. Every time you bite a human they join your ever-increasing horde, until you're controlling whole streets full of the undead.

Unfortunately, rampaging through the streets eating brains is always going to grab someone's attention, and sensing the danger to the population the government has decided to do the only sensible thing they can: quarantine the area and nuke you.

So it's a race against the clock to gather a big enough horde to smash down any human defenses and take on armed guards, tanks and any other opposition that gets between you and those tasty brains.

Soul Sacrifice Delta Update 1.30 Out Now for PlayStation Vita

Soul Sacrifice Delta Update 1.30 Out Now for PlayStation Vita 100°
30w ago - Sony Producer Kumi Yuasa announced today that Soul Sacrifice Delta update 1.30 is out now for PlayStation Vita with details below!

To quote: Hello everyone! Yesterday we released patch 1.30, the last planned update for Soul Sacrifice Delta and suffice it to say, we're going out with a bang.

And when I say "we," I mean "you," in a very brutal way because I am pitting you against the brainy founder of Avalon himself!

He started his monster slaying career as "Persapius I" and finished it as the infamous fiend "Odin." I am sure you will appreciate the irony that he would himself turn into the very thing that he worked so hard to destroy.

Some people are obsessed with gold, some with power, beauty, love... For the first Persapius it was knowledge, an unquenchable thirst for it which drove him over the edge. And yes, you've guessed it: it's up to you to clean up the mess.

So good luck, be strong and pay extra attention to his cursed parts if you want to learn a thing or two about his powerful magic.

Before you head to your doom, why not pay Carnatux's shop one last visit? I hear he's just received this month's must-have garment, guaranteed to make you the most fashionable corpses...

Video: Table Top Racing Launches on PlayStation Vita Today

Video: Table Top Racing Launches on PlayStation Vita Today 50°
30w ago - Playrise Digital CEO Nick Burcombe shared a PS Vita video trailer announcing that Table Top Racing launches on PlayStation Vita today.

To quote: Hi! Nick Burcombe here from Playrise Digital, the team behind Table Top Racing on PS Vita. You may have seen my blog post a couple of weeks ago - hello again, if that's the case!

Table Top Racing is out today, so I'm back to show you guys the brand new launch trailer... As it's launch day, I thought I'd give you guys a few tactical tips before you start revving your engines.

First and foremost, make sure you upgrade your car as you progress - otherwise you won't keep up with the competition. Things get even more interesting when you start experimenting with Weapon-Wheels.

In conjunction with the power-ups, the wheel weapons will give you a real strategic advantage, so think carefully about your selection before each race.

There are 17 fully upgradeable cars, all of which come with some cool skins. You start off with a choice between the Whippy Kai-Yay! Ice Cream Van or the Hippy Bathday Campervan, but in no time at all you'll be upgrading through to the likes of Rally Cars, suped-up pick-up trucks and hyper-cars like the Veloceratti and the Baguetti Carb Injection - we had a lot of fun with the car names.
