Naughty Dog: No Mandatory PS3 HDD Installation for Uncharted 2 250°

SCEE Clarifies Naughty Dog Comments on 2.80 Firmware Secret 50°
July 28, 2009 // 9:49 pm - Yesterday Naughty Dog's Sam Thompson stated in a Comic-Con 2009 interview that the PS3 Firmware 2.80 update adds more memory.

Today, SCEE has clarified these comments explaining that the Naughty Dog rep apparently got confused due to the Comic-Con excitement.

Naughty Dog: We'll see leaps between games on the PS3 bigger than on the PS2 50°
January 21, 2008 // 7:31 pm - Speaking in a recent interview, Evan Wells of Naughty Dogs was discussing the success of Uncharted for the PS3. As well as lavishing praise on the PS3 and the importance of the team hiring the correct people, Wells remarked that they should be able to do much more in future as their engine and development environment are now in place.

He stated the effort can now be focused on what they want to do rather than how to do it and believes that within 3 years leaps between games on the PS3 will be bigger than those experienced on the PS2.
