Video: How to Make Windows XP Look Like Windows 7 350°
280w ago - Hey everybody, I just got done watching a video I have been waiting for from one of my favorite YouTubers Gigafide.

This video clearly shows how to make XP look like Windows 7 so I thought I would share.

You will need the download zip located on the Tinketnut Forum, which can be found below

Download: WinXP/Win7 FilePack

To quote: I've combined all the applications into one zip file. Here are the files that are included in the above link:

• Windows 7 RTM theme for XP
• Icon Tweaker
• Taskbar Shuffle
• Aero Shake
• Aero Snap
• Drive Icons
• Show Desktop

Enjoy!

Uncharted Movie in the Works, Sequel to Game Looks Certain

Uncharted Movie in the Works, Sequel to Game Looks Certain 50°
280w ago - It appears Uncharted is definitely getting a movie after all. According to an interview with New York Magazine, creative director of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Amy Hennig, has told fans not to worry.

To quote: "It's definitely in the works, I can tell people. We've got the best possible partners we could in Columbia Pictures.

If anybody's got any fears of them not understanding the material or not loving it as much as we do, they can wipe those fears away, because these guys really get it.

I can say from the meetings I've had with them so far, their hearts and their heads are absolutely in the right place."

When asked about an Uncharted 3 PS3 game, she stated: "I don't think I'm able to talk about any of that right now.

On a completely general level, the PS3 is an amazing piece of hardware that both us and other developers are only now tapping into its full potential."

First Look: PS3 TOOL - DECR-1000A Front Detailed

First Look: PS3 TOOL - DECR-1000A Front Detailed 700°
283w ago - Earlier this month I purchased a PS3 Reference Tool Model DECR-1000A.

Today I had time so here are some details on exactly what the front of it consists of... I will do a follow-up on the backside and internals soon, and then we'll get into the PS3 Dev aspects of it.

We all remember E3's PS3 - Dual HDMI outputs for extra high-definition widescreen goodness, a built in 3 port gigabit switch, 6 USB ports - features that were trashed. But, on the PS3 Tool, these features are still present, albeit dormant.

Pictured below is the front of the PS3 Tool (click to enlarge it, so you can read the labels), complete with the hidden ports uncovered for you to look at.

The PS3 Tool features, starting from the front left - dual HDD caddies, both sporting a 400GB SATA Hard disk, with eject buttons. - the left most (HDD) is used for the system, while DEV1, holding BD Emulator Images - allowing testing of .ISO's right from a hard disk!

Below that, a Foot Switch Jack is featured which can be used for throwing exceptions for development while playing, among other things.

To the right are 6 USB Ports. The 2 ports marked "extra" were originally intended for the REAR...
