Wipeout HD: 1080p, 60fps and jaw-droppingly gorgeous 500°
December 26, 2007 // 10:52 pm - Did you hear that thud? That's the sound of our jaws accelerating to the floor, smashing into a million tiny pieces. New images of Wipeout HD have surfaced at PlayFrance, and they look absolutely stunning.

What makes this more impressive is that all of these images will be running in full 1080p HD resolution, and at a silky smooth 60fps. That's almost unheard of in this generation of games. Imagine how exhilarating it will be to race these stunning tracks with Wipeout's trademark sense of speed.

FlatOut PSP - looking good 50°
December 19, 2007 // 1:46 pm - Two things stand out in the FlatOut series - insane amounts of destruction and the rag-doll mini games, and these screens show both of those in full effect on the PSP sequel, FlatOut Head On.

It's no wonder it looks good - it's one of the few games lining up to take full advantage of the increased processing power of the PSP running in the new 333Mhz setting (which God of War will also use when it hits the portable).

The finished game promises "nine different game modes, including carnage challenges, full career, destruction derbies, multiplayer party mode and the bone-crunching...

Burnout Paradise demo to be released on December 13th 50°
December 5, 2007 // 4:31 pm - According to a timer on the official developer's Web site linkled above, a demo of Burnout Paradise will be available for the PS3 and X-Box 360 platforms on Thursday, December 13th.

The full game is still scheduled to hit early next year for the PlayStation 3 and 360 on January 22.

Burnout Paradise hits North America on January 22 50°
October 26, 2007 // 3:49 pm - EA has confirmed that Burnout Paradise will be available from January 22nd across North America. The game is due out on both the PS3 and X-Box 360 and promises to deliver a new standard where online social play is concerned.

UOgpSP Kai v3.2 Test 05 For PSP Slim TVOut released! 50°
October 18, 2007 // 1:39 pm - takka has unofficially updated the gameplaySP (Gameboy Advance emulator for PSP) emulator today which now supports fullscreen TVOut and has no more black borders for PSP homebrew.

It has been tested on a PSP Slim 3.71 M33 and works via TVOut A/V cables but apparently without progressive scan.
