Video: Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit Terrorises PS Plus Next Month

Video: Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit Terrorises PS Plus Next Month 50°
129w ago - SEGA Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has shared some video footage today of Wrath Of The Dead Rabbit which will be hitting PlayStation Plus next month.

To quote: It's been some months since we first announced the latest digital title welcomed into the SEGA family, Hell Yeah!

Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, and I thought it was finally time to visit the PlayStation Blog and reveal more about our exciting* new game.

*Exciting can also be taken to mean: insanely creative, off-the-wall, bonkers, delirium inducing, and as many other unnecessary descriptive phrases as I can muster

Hell Yeah! puts you in control of Ash, a devil rabbit and the prince of Hell. In a storyline that I'm sure most blog readers will empathise with (well, maybe), Ash is the victim of a vicious smear campaign, as somebody posts sordid bath-time images of him up on the 'Hell-ternet'.

So, at its core, Hell Yeah! is a tale of revenge - a story of the little-man standing up for himself. That this little-man is in fact a devil rabbit, and the prince of Hell, just gives it a little more edge. In fact, Ash wants to ensure that everybody who has seen the photos suffers, which is where you step in.

As you can see from the above below, Ash does have...

Sony on Integrating the Music Unlimited Service with Bravia TVs

Sony on Integrating the Music Unlimited Service with Bravia TVs 50°
129w ago - Sony's Greg Belloni has announced today news regarding the integration of their Music Unlimited service with Bravia TVs.

Below are the details, to quote: If you own one of Sony's 2012 BRAVIA TVs, you'll be able to quickly and easily answer the following question: "Who sings that song?"

2012 Bravia TVs will feature Sony TrackID, allowing viewers to, with a push of a button, identify any song that's being played during a TV program they're watching.

By using Gracenote's advanced audio fingerprinting, Sony TrackID will show the song name and artist information for music played during TV shows, movies and even commercials.

Even better? After identifying the song that's being played, viewers will see direct links to the songs and/or artists on the Music Unlimited service, where listeners can listen to the whole song or more from that band or artist.

This is just one of the ways we're continuing to bring the Music Unlimited service to subscribers across a host of connected devices. Find out more here.

RSXGL - RSX Graphics Library for PS3 is Now Ready for Developers

RSXGL - RSX Graphics Library for PS3 is Now Ready for Developers 700°
129w ago - Sony PlayStation 3 hacker KaKaRoToKS has announced today that the RSX Graphics Library for PS3 known as RSXGL by Alex Betts is now ready for use by developers.

Download: PS3 RSXGL (5c6aba6) / GIT

From his blog: RSXGL Working and Usable

Hi everyone!

When the PS3 homebrew scene started, a lot of people were complaining that it wasn’t possible to write 3D games for the PS3 because of its lack of OpenGL library.

Almost a year ago, Alex Betts thought he would tackle this problem and he started working on RSXGL... an implementation of the OpenGL 3.1 specification written from scratch targeting the PS3′s RSX.

Anyone in their right mind would say that it’s impossible, that it’s too much work, but Alex spent the last year working on it, alone, until it became usable. You can read some news about it here.

For some reason though, no one used it to build their own apps. Maybe the status of the project...

Video: Running PSP ISOs (PSP ISO Loader) on the PS Vita Demo

Video: Running PSP ISOs (PSP ISO Loader) on the PS Vita Demo 750°
129w ago - Below is a demo video from wololo (via The Z from German site PSPKing.de) of a developer running PSP ISOs using a PSP ISO Loader on the PlayStation Vita handheld console.

To quote: "You might remember the hacker whom I nicknamed “Tony”, who was able to run PS1 games and psp isos with a CFW on a PS Vita. Or you might remember Davee’s HEN running on a PS Vita back in march. You might also remember that I mentioned that several groups are now in possession of a PSP kernel exploit on the Vita.

Well it seems today that a beta tester for one of these groups was not completely careful, and leaked a video showing him running psp isos on a Vita (video below).

The video shows the tester (who is possibly Chinese) running isos for Metal Gear Solid : Peace Walker and Shining Blade through a (PSP) kernel exploit.

I have been told that the initial video has since then been removed which is why I’m thinking of a beta-tester mistake, but that was probably too late and the video got copied to other networks such as youtube.

What I can tell you right now is that this video is legit, and that...
