The very-awesome Haze official Web site! 50°
May 1, 2008 // 3:33 pm - This is a very cool Web site featuring nice aspects of this new Haze game made by Free Radical. I always enjoyed the co-op in other titles. I bet this was expensive and time consuming to make.

To quote: We're hoping Ubisoft's Haze official Web site is a good indicator on how much effort went into creating the game.

While most official sites do little more than give a few screenshots and videos, the Haze site goes above and beyond, creating a truly cinematic experience that puts other sites to shame.

GTA IV PS3 bundle coming to Europe 400°
April 7, 2008 // 12:30 pm - Swedish retailer Webhallen has today revealed the first image of a new PlayStation 3 bundle which will be launching in Europe alongside Grand Theft Auto IV. The bundle includes the standard 40GB PlayStation 3 console and a copy of the game.

The price listed is 4499kr, which is the same as the Gran Turismo 5 bundle that launched just over a week ago. While availability in other countries has not been announced, this indicates that the GTA bundle should sell for £299.99 in the United Kingdom and €399.99 elsewhere.

Huxley Release Slides Back 50°
March 5, 2008 // 2:23 pm - Webzen has confirmed to IGN that the Xbox 360 version of the long awaited MMOFPS, Huxley, is roughly six months behind the PC SKU.

With localization of the Korean-developed game on PC expected to take around six months and the game due out overseas in the first half of this year, that puts the Xbox 360 release squarely in 2009.

EU warns firms on text charging 50°
February 11, 2008 // 2:12 pm - Europe's mobile phone operators have been warned they must cut the cost of texting and internet access for users who are overseas or face regulation.

EU Commissioner Viviane Reding said firms have until 1 July to slash their so-called "roaming" charges.

A text sent while abroad can cost as much as 49 pence ($0.95) and a study found that transferring 1 megabyte (MB) of data on average costs £4.11.

Mobile phone companies say they have already begun cutting prices.

Microsoft accused on net browser 200°
December 15, 2007 // 5:13 pm - A complaint has been filed to the European Commission accusing Microsoft of stifling competition by tying its browser to Windows.

Opera Software said the close ties between Internet Explorer (IE) and Windows made it hard for rivals to be a serious choice for web users.

Opera also said Microsoft flouted web standards, making it much harder for browsers to be interoperable.

Microsoft said putting its browser in its operating system benefited users.
