The Walking Dead: Season Two - Episode 3 is Out Today on PS3

The Walking Dead: Season Two - Episode 3 is Out Today on PS3 50°
42w ago - Telltale Games Community Lead Laura Perusco announced that The Walking Dead: Season Two - Episode 3 is out today on PS3.

To quote: I'll keep this one short (Because hey, most of the fun is playing the episode for yourself!), but here's a little rundown on what Clementine is facing in the next chapter of The Walking Dead on PS3.

After Clem and her new group are captured by Carver, you'll be forced to make some seriously hard-hitting decisions as escape becomes a priority.

It won't be easy, because Carver's intelligence is rivaled only by his propensity for brutal violence. In this episode, the weak will perish and only the strong will survive... check out the trailer to see a little more if you're game.

As ever, thanks for continuing The Walking Dead journey with us, and let us know what you think in the comments - just please be mindful of SPOILERS for those who have yet to jump in!

Harmonix Invites Fans to Help Make Amplitude Happen on PS4 & PS3

Harmonix Invites Fans to Help Make Amplitude Happen on PS4 & PS3 50°
43w ago - Harmonix Art Director Ryan Lesser invites fans to help make Amplitude happen on both PS4 and PS3 video game platforms.

Below are the details, to quote: Ryan Lesser here, Art Director at Harmonix, and I have some awesome news that I wanted to share with PlayStation fans.

We are launching a Kickstarter to fund a new version of our DualShock-controlled rhythm-action PlayStation 2 classic, Amplitude, for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, and we need your support!

Thirteen years ago, Harmonix created our first music game - FreQuency for PS2. It wasn't a commercial hit at the time, but fans and critics loved it.

Even so, we knew we could do better. We polished, tweaked, and tightened the experience, and in 2003, we released Frequency's sequel, Amplitude. I was the Art Director and part of the "design cabal" for the original title, and I'm excited to be the Creative Lead for this updated version of Amplitude!

If you missed the original release, Amplitude is a fast-paced rollercoaster ride through an all-digital landscape, where musical notes have been "silenced" by encapsulating...

Sony Announces Child of Light is Out Today on PS4 and PS3

Sony Announces Child of Light is Out Today on PS4 and PS3 50°
44w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements announced that Child of Light is out today on PS4 and PS3 platforms with details below.

To quote: Whisked away to a mystical realm and faced with menacing creatures, the small-framed Aurora is tasked with a great quest: to reclaim the Sun, Moon, and Stars from the Black Queen.

In Ubisoft Montreal's love letter to JRPGs, Child of Light invites players to adventure through enchanting vistas and forge alliances with eccentric heroes.

Child of Light launches today on PS3 and PS4. To celebrate the occasion, Child of Light's Writer Jeffrey Yohalem offers his thoughts as Aurora takes her first steps into a surreal world.

Child of Light is a game designed to be deep enough to appeal to fans of classic JRPGs, like Final Fantasy VI - the hard mode is especially challenging - but if played on normal it is accessible enough to appeal to newcomers. We wanted to share our love of JRPGs with a whole new audience while staying true to the roots of the genre.

The combat is deep, strategic, and involving. At the same time, we wanted to use these JRPG mechanics to tell a deep, moving story. Every mechanic...

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords is Out Today on PS3 / PlayStation 3

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords is Out Today on PS3 / PlayStation 3 50°
45w ago - Namco Bandai Community Manager J Kartje announced that Soulcalibur: Lost Swords PS3 is out today on PlayStation 3!

To quote: Hey gang. The endless story of souls and swords marches forward. Starting today, PS3 owners will be able to download our latest Soulcalibur title, Soulcalibur: Lost Swords, for free.

That's right, I said free! Soulcalibur: Lost Swords takes everything you like about the series - the fast and fluid, weapon-based combat, the beautiful graphics, the customization options - and wraps it all up in a free-to-play game worthy of the Soulcalibur legacy.

We'll also be bringing back some fan-favorite characters that missed the fight in Soulcalibur V, including Sophitia and Taki. Be sure to keep a look out for other returning characters as well as time goes on.

There are some changes to the Soulcalibur formula that we are implementing in Lost Swords. The first one you're going to notice is that the game is single-player only and revolves around players making their way through a series of quests to gain items.

These items can be accessories such as clothing options or new weapons to give your character extra flair or increased stats. These upgraded items will be essential as you tackle later quests.

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords isn't...
