Video: Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition for PS3 and PlayStation Move 350°
228w ago - Today Product Manager Matt Dahlgren shares an in-depth video peek at how Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition works with the PlayStation Move PS3 motion controller.

To quote: Recently we had the PlayStation team into our office for an in-depth demo of how the PlayStation Move motion controller works with Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition. Check out the video below to see how these new controls work.

For those who don't know, when the PlayStation Move controller became available, Capcom released a free update for Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition owners that implements new control options into the game which provide a more immersive and intuitive experience.

Now you can use the PlayStation Move controller to aim with ease as you take down the hoards of Majini that have taken over Kijuju.

Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is available in stores now and in addition to the entire Resident Evil 5 experience, the Gold Edition includes two new episodes, four new costumes, an online Versus Mode, and a newly reworked Mercenaries Reunion mode. The PlayStation Move motion controller works with all modes.

PlayStation Move Hands-on: Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for PS3

PlayStation Move Hands-on: Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for PS3 200°
240w ago - Today Sony's Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has shared a hands-on PlayStation Move preview of Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition for PS3.

To quote: At last week's PlayStation event in NYC, I was pleased to see Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition make an appearance – complete with the new PlayStation Move control scheme.

I grabbed a PlayStation Move and a Navigation Controller and dove into a combat sequence several chapters into the game. Several details quickly became apparent:

Aiming is much, much easier. I was able to pop headshots, even at long ranges, with impressive accuracy using the PlayStation Move's reticule aiming. You move your character with an analog stick (via the Navigation Controller or a DualShock 3), then squeeze the trigger on the PlayStation Move to draw your weapon. Once your shot is lined up, you press the Move button with your thumb to fire the shot. Easy!

From what I played, the new PlayStation Move aiming controls will be a big help to players who had difficulty adjusting to Resident Evil 5's default analog stick control scheme.

Knifing is easier, too. In the original version of Resident Evil 5, swinging your knife was...

Video: Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West Hits PSN 50°
252w ago - Fatshark Executive Producer Martin Wahlund has shared a video of the new PS3 game titled Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West that is hitting PSN today.

To quote: I am going to tell you a bit about Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West, a fast-paced, team-based multiplayer shooter released today on PSN.

So What Does It Play Like? Many comparisons have been made (by watching previews) to Team Fortress 2, which is understandable due to the similarity in genre.

Although we do love TF2, we are very confident that the gameplay and feel of Lead and Gold has an identity all of its own.

Lead and Gold features six multiplayer maps, five multiplayer game modes, a co-op mode and a single player practice mode. The matches are five-on-five affairs and the game mechanics, game modes and maps have all been designed with one common goal: team play.

Let me give you some examples:

• Player characters have aura buffs – we call them Synergies – that strengthen your gang-mates if they stay in your vicinity. This is a simple but effective way to encourage players to work together.
• The...
