296w ago - Capcom's Marketing Coordinator Ryan McDougall has announced today that Capcom Classics will be hitting PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Today, I'm here to bring you word of our upcoming PlayStation classics, a library of classic games being brought to you on the PlayStation Network. We've sorted through our archives and hand-selected the games that rocked the industry.

All of these upcoming classics will be released over the PSN, and will be playable on your PSP.

Coming up first is Capcom Classics Collection: Remixed, available tomorrow. The game is a collection of arcade classics from gaming's glorious past. Pay homage to the best of the arcades, like Final Fight, Bionic Commando, Street Fighter, and Magic Sword. Prove your old-school dominance with twenty full arcade titles. Check out the full list of included games here.

Later this summer, look forward to Fate/Unlimited Codes. Capcom's fighting game masters have brought one of Japan's most popular animes exclusively to the PSN, ready for the new PSPgo. High-flying combos and fast-paced versus action show off the game's gorgeous 3D graphics, and it's a fighting-game experience you can't get anywhere else.

Capcom CFO Makes Statement on Bringing Resident Evil 5 to Wii

100°
301w ago - After recent rumors, Capcom's Chief Financial Officer Abe Kazuhiko has updated his statement about Resident Evil 5 coming to Wii.

To quote: "Up until now, after releasing our PS3 and XBox 360 games, we have brought them to Wii.

Basically, this is the approach we are considering taking."

More ports? Even Peter Moore knows thats a bad word.

With Dead Rising being on Wii expect more ports to come out of Capcom's camp.

Capcom to Give Fans What They've Been Waiting for at E3 2009

200°
301w ago - Previously it was rumored that the second secret title which Capcom will unveil at E3 2009 would be none other than Devil May Cry 5.

Since then, Capcom was contacted asking for their word on this rumor, and have replied as follows:

Capcom immediately replied saying, "It's a title fans have been waiting for, everyone will have to wait until E3 to find out what the secret title exactly is, but we can tell it is definitely not Devil May Cry 5."

There you have it, it's not Devil May Cry 5 but Capcom stating that 'It's what fans have been waiting for' certainly excites us and after giving it some thought we came up with 1 title that hasn't been announced yet and has a lot of fans waiting Onimusha 5.

Rumor: Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 to be Revealed at E3 '09 for Wii

200°
302w ago - Another rumor to spark up your interest for the already much-ado'd E3: Capcom is presenting Devil May Cry 5 at the said event.

Remember that full E3 line-up plus two mystery games released a couple of weeks ago? Well, rumor has it that the other mystery title is DMC5.

According to Curious Gamer, this iteration of the DMC franchise will not only head to the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, but will also be showing up on the Nintendo Wii.

Also, their source says that attendees of E3 may look forward to a 1:32-minute long teaser trailer - quite short for eager fans, but it ought to be informative nonetheless as the release date will be shown in it too.

Again, this stands as rumor for now, though. We expect to hear something official from Capcom now that the buzz is out.

The first revealed mystery title turned out to be Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

Report: Capcom is Working on More PS3 Than XBox 360 Games

250°
303w ago - In a follow-up to Capcom's latest fiscal reports, they've released a chart showing how many games they've released last year as well as how many they'll be releasing this year and next.

The numbers predict that they'll be releasing fifteen PlayStation 3 games this year and twelve Xbox 360 games this year. Following up in 2010, Capcom will be releasing thirteen PlayStation 3 games and twelve Xbox 360 games.

This is odd, considering Capcom is a multiplatform developer. What could these extra PlayStation 3 games be?

Perhaps one of them is of the two new titles to be announced at E3 2009? Mega Man Legends 3, maybe (hopefully)?

We'll have to wait and see... feel free to speculate below.
