May 21, 2008 // 2:38 am - E3 is getting closer and closer. And as much as most people want it to die, I really hope it stays alive. To me, E3 was the place and time where it would be megatons after megatons of gaming announcements, and nothing could be more nostalgic than constant announcements from your favorite gaming company.

There are only so many things that Nintendo could announce at this coming E3 that would really help out Wii. Here is Wii Live's Top 5 Things Nintendo should announce at E3. Sorry for the long title.

May 20, 2008 // 3:36 am - Update: It appears that Konami may have dropped the $500 insurance charge and that pre-orders have temporarily ceased. The Konami online store asks customers to "Please check back tomorrow (May 20, 2008), when we will make available more stock for pre-orders."

One might think that after the registration disaster that was the Metal Gear Online beta sign up process that Konami would be well prepared for the pre-ordering onslaught that awaited them today.

May 15, 2008 // 10:13 pm - The clock is ticking down on Electronic Arts's takeover bid for publisher Take-Two, and the company remains steadfast in its refusal to buckle. But the publishing giant doesn't seem ready to give up so easily.

But when Take-Two chairman Strauss Zelnick stonewalled, EA was stumped....
