There's Gran Turismo 5, Any Other Good 2009 Racing Games? 100°
December 27, 2008 // 9:27 pm - Gran Turismo 5 is expected to be one of the best racing titles of 2009. Judging by the standards of GT5: Prologue, the combination of graphics and realistic handling, makes it one of the best titles out there.

However, what other games can we expect to be of good quality in 2009. In my opinion, none really can compare to GT5, but there are some still very good contenders. Below are some of my picks of worthy racing titles to get in 09. You tell me what you think.

Wii Wheel and Wii Fit board combo racing experiment 50°
June 20, 2008 // 11:43 pm - Mike Sylvester over at Wiifanboy has been experimenting with glovepie scripting to come up with a way of using your wii wheel and fit board to control your favorite racing sims on the PC.

Grid is the Most Exciting Racing Game Ever Made! 50°
May 27, 2008 // 1:01 am - Speaking to, Chief Game Designer Ralph Fulton has said that he believes forthcoming title GRID is the most exciting racing game ever made and that competing titles such as Forza and Gran Turismo are all about the car list rather than racing.

Codemasters acquires Sega Racing Studio 50°
April 26, 2008 // 3:12 pm - Codemasters has confirmed that it has acquired UK-based Sega Racing Studio, the dev behind Sega Rally Revo which was closed earlier in the month.

It was rumored that the publisher was snapping up Sega Racing Studio yesterday.

"In seizing this opportunity, we have created additional resources to escalate our plans in the racing segment," said Rod Cousens, chief executive of Codemasters, reports.

Cousens added, "We hope to welcome more than 40 people to the company and we have enjoyed the full co-operation of our friends at Sega in making this happen....
