August 3, 2009 // 8:34 pm - Well, it's not the big price drop everyone is anxiously awaiting, however, PlayStationLifestyle.net (linked above) did notice that Amazon.com has dropped the PS3 160GB price by 10%... meaning $50 off.

To quote: "Amazon.com has reduced the price of the 160GB PS3 Bundle that features a copy of Uncharted and a voucher for the downloadable game Pain. The price has been reduced 10%, so you can score the PS3 for the low(er) price of $449.

Sony Aids Indie PSP Devs with Faster QA and Lower Price Points 50°
July 14, 2009 // 10:04 pm - The price cut on the PSP devkit has already opened PSP development to more interested parties, but apparently that's not Sony's only approach to bringing in more devs to the handheld.

According to Develop (linked above), Sony is also cutting down on the time it takes for a game to pass the quality assurance process.
