Video: All Zombies Must Die Shuffles Onto PSN December 27th

Video: All Zombies Must Die Shuffles Onto PSN December 27th 100°
167w ago - Doublesix Games Community Manager Jamin Smith has confirmed today alongside a video trailer that All Zombies Must Die will be shuffling onto PSN this December 27th.

To quote: Today I bring news that our Arcade-RPG All Zombies Must Die! will be ambling onto the PlayStation Store December 27.

AZMD is a twin-stick shooter taken to lofty new heights with a bevy of RPG features and four player co-op. As the zombie apocalypse arrives in the town of Deadhill it falls to four unlikely heroes to defend humanity and save the day.

Jack, the gamer; Rachel, the girl; Brian, the geek and Luxo, the alien must undertake insane quests, craft crazy weapons and generally put down as many zombies as humanly possible.

With comical references and a fourth-wall-breaking script to tie it all together, AZMD presents the zombie apocalypse in a whole new light.

To coincide with the festive period, we also have a range of zombie companions arriving on PlayStation Home. While it's true that all zombies must die, and the undead are foul creatures that should be riddled with bullets without a moment's hesitation, they do make rather charming pets.

Video: Little Deviants Rolling Onto PS Vita from E3 2011 50°
194w ago - Today SCEE Manager James Gallagher shared some E3 2011 video footage of Little Deviants for Sony's PS Vita handheld console.

To quote: Whenever you get your hands on a new game console or electronic gadget, you want to check out all of its shiny new features. Little Deviants is just perfect for that - it uses a host of different player inputs in a collection of games that is only possible on PS Vita.

It's developed by Bigbig Studios, the creators of Pursuit Force and MotorStorm: Arctic Edge, bringing a wealth of handheld development experience to what was one of the most popular Vita titles shown at E3. As part of our program of live video interviews, I caught up with Richard Ogden, Game Design Director, to eek out as much info about the game as I could.

We're not quite done with the E3 replays yet; watch this space.

Sony said they are looking into the dilemma, and are exploring opportunities.

To quote: Now that Sony's press conference is over and the PSP Go has officially been unveiled to the public (beyond last weekend's leak), we here at IGN have one burning question: what will you do with all your old UMDs once you own a shiny Go?

We took a moment after the show to ask Sony representatives about this dire dilemma.

Their answer: "we're definitely exploring opportunities."

This doesn't tell us much, but we can only hope that there will be an easy way to transfer UMDs onto the Go's internal memory without shelling out some big bucks.

Secret Agent Clank Sneaking Onto Sony's PS2 Today

Secret Agent Clank Sneaking Onto Sony's PS2 Today 50°
301w ago - SCEA Sr. Producer Frank Simon has announced that Secret Agent Clank is sneaking onto Sony's PS2 console today.

To quote: Just wanted to let you know to look for Secret Agent Clank on the store shelves beginning today! Sanzaru Games did a fantastic job of bringing this game to the PS2 adding and increasing textures, geometry and just raw numbers of models to make a more beautiful, richer game experience. Characters and the animation for them were rebuilt and augmented.

Couple this with an all new camera system, customized controls for the DualShock 2 and a whole lot of additional polish and love from the team and you end up with a really great game.

You might ask yourself, why bring PSP games to the PS2? The answer we'd tell you is there are a lot of folk out there that are still hungry for content. We believe Secret Agent Clank will deliver this. Sanzaru did a fantastic job of really customizing the experience for the PS2. They went in and rebuilt whole sections of the game in order provide for a deeper richer experience.

Even with all this change, we kept the fantastic game that High Impact Games put together for the PSP, just now taking advantage of everything the PS2 has to offer.
