GTA IV: Lost and Damned DLC to Premiere at 2008 VGAs 50°
December 5, 2008 // 10:49 pm - Not content with the first showing of Uncharted 2, God of War III, Brutal Legend and some new Gears of War 2 stuff, the 2008 Video Game Awards, airing on Spike TV, will also be premiering the first footage of Rockstar's GTA IV downloadable content, Lost and Damned.

The footage will be shown sometime from 9pm PST (5am BST, 6am CET) on December 14, and, of course we'll be there with our special early morning news hats on, making sure you don't miss anything.

GTA IV Exclusive XBox 360 DLC Unveiled 50°
November 20, 2008 // 4:05 pm - First details of the eagerly awaited downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV have emerged, with initial reports suggesting the Xbox 360 exclusive pack will shift the focus away from Niko Bellic.

Revealed by USA Today, the downloadable content is titled 'Lost and Damned', and centres around the character of Johnny Klebitz, a member of Liberty City's biker gang The Lost.

Chinatown Wars to Feature Almost the Entire Map from GTA IV 50°
November 17, 2008 // 11:05 pm - A Spanish magazine recently got their hands on Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the Nintendo DS and discussed map details.

It appears as though the game will feature a similar map as GTA IV, though without Alderney.

To quote: Even though many people believed that Chinatown Wars would develop only in the Chinese neighborhood the game uses nearly the whole map that appears in GTA IV.

The districts that appear are: Dukes (Queens), Bohan (Bronx), Broker (Brooklyn) and Algonquin...

GTA: Chinatown Wars Delayed, Slated for Spring 2009 Release 50°
November 14, 2008 // 8:11 pm - Before even receiving a set release date, GTA: Chinatown Wars, the upcoming GTA installment for the Nintendo DS, has joined the ranks of GTA IV PC and Xbox 360 downloadable content as delayed.

At a press conference today, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick confirmed GTA IV DLC's delay rumors stating that it may arrive as late as Spring 2009.

Zelnick also stated that Chinatown Wars isn't scheduled to be released in the first quarter of the 2009 fiscal year (January 2009) as initially expected, but will arrive within Q2 2009, which ends in April.

EDGE Magazine interviewed Rockstar Games VP, Dan Houser on what to expect for this winter's forthcoming GTA debut on Nintendo DS, Chinatown Wars. The interview revealed a few new snippets of information about the game.

• Pedestrians will act the same as they do in GTA IV. You can find them talking with each other, buying snacks and items at newsstands, and will even take out an umbrella when it's raining.

Reggae man sues Rockstar, Take-Two for Copyright in GTA IV 50°
September 10, 2008 // 9:53 pm - Looks like trouble never sleeps in Liberty City, indeed. This time around, it's a music copyright lawsuit that's filed against Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto IV, particularly on the songs played on the in-game radio station.

Jamaican Linton White alleged in his complaint that the reggae song "Last Night" making its rounds on the GTA IV (Xbox 360, PS3) airwaves care of the reggae station, Massive B Sound System 96.9, was actually co-written by him with one David Brooks (aka "Mavado"). Apart from that song, there's also "Bullet Proof Skin", which he says he co-wrote with Brooks...

September 3, 2008 // 6:45 pm - Unlike most of what we read about GTA being a bad influence, GTA is actually being portrayed in a positive light for helping to save the life of a family in this article.

An 11 year old girl knew from playing GTA the dangers of a potential vehicle rollover. With a bit of quick-thinking, she helped pull out her family members to safety and her Mom commented:

"She just knew, from playing 'Grand Theft Auto.' She saw on there that when a car rolls over, it can blow up. She knew that could happen to us."
