PlayStation Home Beta: Uncharted Access Codes Available! 100°
December 12, 2008 // 7:55 pm - The Home Public beta went live today opening up the Uncharted: Sully Bar Room. The bar has a jungle setting with a small side room with a few chairs and tables set up.

The main room includes a bar, three arcade machines, a jukebox, and several portraits of the Uncharted characters along with several "paintings" of specific scenes from the game.

Sony Partners with FON for Free PSP WiFi Access in Japan 50°
August 22, 2008 // 7:03 pm - Sony announced today that it has formed a partnership with the WiFi sharing network known as FON to allow PSP owners to freely access the internet across 44,000 FON hotspots in Japan.

In addition to free Internet access, users will be able to download PSP content such as game demos, XMB themes and wallpaper images through the service.

In celebration of the announcement, a theme for Square Enix's PSP brawler Dissidia: Final Fantasy will be available to all FON-connected users.

Home Access is based on Console Region, not PSN Account 50°

It seems that the client reacts to your console's native region, locking you out of any Home servers that don't match it. Open Source Wii DVD Access Library Released 200°
August 12, 2008 // 9:27 pm - Although it has arrived a bit later than expected, it's here now. Team Twiizers has rolled out the initial release of the open-source Wii DVD access library, which allows users to read standard DVDs on a unmodified console with the homebrew-enabling Twilight Hack installed.

Download: libdi (DVDX) / MPlayer

If you have a mod-chip, you also need patchmii_core, in addition to the DVDX stub installer.
