To quote: Meet Detective Shelby, a brand new Heavy Rain character revealed and demoed at Gamescom Cologne.

On day one, we scored some time with writer/director and Founder/CEO of developer Quantic Dream David Cage, who was kind enough to take you on a tour of the playable Gamescom demo.

As Detective Shelby enters a convenience store to meet with the father of one of the Origami Killer's victims... well, you should just watch for yourself. And we didn't forget about your questions!

289w ago - Update: According to German site EuroGamer.de, the MAG public BETA will begin on September 17, 2009 as confirmed by Andy Beaudoin, chief designer at Zipper Interactive.

Today Sony's Social Media Senior Specialist Chris Morell has shared a MAG GamesCom Virtual Booth Tour video on the PlayStation Blog.

To quote: On day one of Gamescom Cologne, even the jet lag of a 40-hour day couldn't keep me from stumbling my way over to MAG in the PlayStation booth.

There, I found Seth Luisi, Director of Development at SCEA, who walked us through a 128-player "Acquisition" mode Valor map that's playable on the show floor.

It works by laying flat on whatever surface you deem fit, and then it holds your new gaming console upright.

The folks over at Kotaku (linked above) have done a simple PS3 Slim standing test, to see if the fancy accessory is a necessity or not.

To quote stephentotilo, who shared the video on YouTube:
