Video: Okami HD Hits PS3 with PlayStation Move Support This Fall

Video: Okami HD Hits PS3 with PlayStation Move Support This Fall 400°
141w ago - Capcom Marketing Manager Tristan Corbett has announced today that Okami HD is coming exclusively to PS3 complete with PlayStation Move support this Fall.

Below is a video of it in action, and to quote: I'm pleased to confirm that this fall, gamers will be able to return to the land of Nippon in Okami HD, exclusively on the PS3 with PlayStation Move support.

Initially released to critical acclaim on the PS2, Okami HD has the player take on the role of Amaterasu, the Japanese sun goddess, who inhabits the form of a wolf.

After a tyrannical monster, Orochi, turns the world into a ruined, colorless wasteland, Amaterasu must use her magical abilities to restore the land to its previous glory and defeat the demon in charge of the destruction.

Okami HD brings Amaterasu's epic tale to the PS3 with fully integrated HD graphics and widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. I did not think it was possible to make the game look even better, but when I saw it for myself, I was a believer.

The trademark sumi-e ink art style lends itself perfectly to HD, allowing players to experience more of the awe-inspiring world displayed in more detail than ever before. Check out the trailer above to see what I'm talking...

141w ago - Zen Studios Managing Director Zsolt Kigyossy has announced today alongside a video trailer that Marvel Pinball: Avengers Chronicles will be hitting PSN tomorrow.

To quote: Brand new Marvel Pinball tables will be available tomorrow via PSN on PS3!

Marvel's The Avengers, based on Marvel Entertainment's BILLION dollar movie, World War Hulk, The Infinity Gauntlet, and Fear Itself make up one of our most exciting videogame pinball releases ever.

Each table is based on a huge event in the Marvel universe, and I cannot hide the fact that we are very proud of these tables! We have taken major steps forward with our pinball craft and of course, I could go on forever and ever about how great I think the new tables are, but I'll let them do the talking! Check out the trailer for Fear Itself.

So, what is new and different about this set of Marvel Pinball tables? Previous tables were developed around...

Videos: Zen Studios KickBeat Gameplay and Zen Pinball 2 Updates 50°
142w ago - Zen Studios Managing Director Zsolt Kigyossy is here today with a KickBeat PS Vita gameplay video and some Zen Pinball 2 updates from this year's E3 convention.

To quote: Zen Studios is fresh off an exciting and successful E3. Although our presence was modest, we still made a big impact.

KickBeat for PS Vita won Destructoid's Best of Rhythm E3 award, and Zen Pinball 2 was nominated for Best of E3 2012 by IGN and Best Portable Game by Destructoid. We are extremely honored to be included alongside the industry's best!

KickBeat sure received a positive response at E3. We think it's because there is nothing else like it, and a lot of people caught on to that.

There were also some people who simply told us we were crazy when they watched us play, but once they got their hands on the game they had BIG smiles on their faces. We have some new video that was released right before and then during E3, we wanted to make sure you guys got a chance to view as well.

The first video is the intro story chapter to KickBeat, setting up our Kung Fu style cheesy story. All of these story scenes are hand animated, and yes, we hired professional voice actors. As a matter of fact, at least one of the actors we've used came by the Sony booth to say "hi," as they are all from Los Angeles.

Video: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz Hits PS Vita October 23rd 100°
142w ago - Sega Associate Community Manager Julian Mehlfeld has shared a new video today spotlighting Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz which is coming to PS Vita on October 23, 2012.

To quote: We're pretty excited about the upcoming exclusive PS Vita release of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz on October 23 - the game is coming along nicely!

We have a lot of familiar Monkey Ball features returning along with some fan favorites, as well as some new tech and new goodies to take full advantage of PS Vita.

Super Monkey Ball has always been built on the premise of accessibility and challenging gameplay - easy to pick up, difficult to master.

We've made the transition for new players a lot easier, with a gentler difficulty curve in the beginning that helps you master the tough challenges that will eventually come your way.

And don't worry, we've got some punch in there for the veteran Monkey Ball fans looking for a challenge, from more varied levels with new routes and shortcuts, a higher degree of challenges, and the ever- popular minigames!

While the full game is built on personal challenges, the minigames have always been about multiplayer with your friends. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz enables both...

Video: Transformers: Fall of Cybertron PS3 Unloads at E3 2012 50°
143w ago - High Moon Studios Game Director Matt Tieger has posted up a new Transformers: Fall of Cybertron PS3 video today direct from E3 2012 below!

To quote: I'm excited to share our latest trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron with you, fresh from E3 2012. And I'm here to take your questions: Optimus Prime, Shockwave, Bruticus, Grimlock, and now Metroplex...we have a ton to talk about!

You may know High Moon Studios from our work on Transformers: War for Cybertron back in 2010.

With War for Cybertron we had to work hard to prove that Transformers games could be good; with Fall of Cybertron we've set out to show how they can be great. Big words indeed. How we back that up is with the scale and variety of the game we've built in Fall of Cybertron. Transformers needs to have a wide variety of unique characters and a rich assortment of big environments to use their transforming gameplay.

We've assembled a big cast of playable characters, each one bringing very unique skills to the battle. Transforming, tight shooting controls, melee, flying, combining, stealth, grappling - we have all these gameplay elements and they all feel right for the Transformers....
