GDC '09 Video: OnLive Walkthrough Shows It All

300°
309w ago - Over at the Game Developers Conference, OnLive is being demoed and boy does it look amazing.

It has all the features any gamer could want. First off, it has a Showcase of games displayed in such a stylistic way with a catalog of games from great publishers such as EA, Take-Two and 2D Boy.

Second, the Friends pages are awesome, with their moving video captures and brag clips.

Third, the games stream amazingly fast and by the looks of it, there's no need to install since it's running off their server.

Guide: How to Unbrick Your Nintendo Wii Console

1200°
310w ago - This is a TUT to unbrick your Wii with the internal Rescue Menu. You can do this with and without Starfall.

Without Starfall you have to MOD a GC Controller to press all 4 ways of the digi pad to same time and you need a Original Game Disc with a update on it, higher as your installed FW. If you have a Modchip set to autoboot disc's than you can use a backup instead of a Original disc. For Starfall you dono need to MOD your GC Pad.

And you could use Backups if the disc size will match the 4,37GB. I self have testet the semi unbrick disc but it does not work without a modchip. There for I made the "Universal Unbrick Disc" becouse the disc will match the 4,37GB and it hase the FW 3.3 update + the WAD Manager as main.dol in the game partition.I will show you how to start both rescue menu's, with an without starfall and i will use the universal unbrick disc with starfall to upgrade (unbrick) my Wii to FW3.3.

When you could use it?

If you run into a brick and your Wii does not start the menu any more but will boot (green led and spinning drive) you have a good chance to be able to start the Wii internal rescue menu to install a FW update or the system menu.wad + IOS via WAD Manager what will unbrick your Wii if you lucky. If your Wii does not boot any more than your only chance...

550°
312w ago - I've made this tutorial, because I had many troubles with installing my SixAxis controller under Windows Vista x64.

Download: Here

1. Download and extract the files

2. Open LibUSB64bit folder and run infwizard.exe. Click on next and select "USB Composite Device" from the list. Click next twice and save the file.

3. Go to Control Panel and open "Add hardware", select "Install drivers for older devices with Add Hardware wizard".

4. Select Install hardware manually from list, select "Show all devices", click "Have disk" and browse your computer for the file you created in step 2. If you get an error about compatibility, ignore it and continue.

5. Now install libusb-win32-filter-bin-0.1.12.1.exe, but make sure you set compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2 (Right click on installation file, click properties, Compatibility tab, Run this program in compatibility mode for Windows XP Sp2 and click OK).

6. !!IMPORTANT!! Now you must restart your computer, but remember to press F8 during boot! A screen will appear and scroll down to select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement". You must do this every time you boot your computer, or your usb controllers wont work.
