To quote: When we set out to make Resistance 3, we wanted to make it an emotional, personal story of Joseph Capelli's harrowing journey to New York City in the face of certain death.

It's a brutal game, showing how humanity struggles to survive under the crushing weight of the Chimera. A big element of that was making sure that our score and soundtrack represented this new emotional payload.

Cellminer: Bitcoin Miner for Cell Broadband Engine Architecture 700°
June 26, 2011 // 5:52 pm - Today Cellminer: Bitcoin Miner for the Cell Broadband Engine Architecture (CBEA) was made available via Github for Sony's PS3 entertainment system.

For those curious, this was developed on a PlayStation 3 using Debian GNU / Linux 6.0.1.

June 7, 2011 // 7:12 pm - Today we received word from mas that he and xorloser have made available a PS3 Cell BE (Broadband Engine) Secure Boot Process PDF document for other PlayStation 3 developers.

Speaking briefly to xorloser, he stated mas recently contacted him with the chart for examination and from there some updates and corrections were made to the diagram until the revised public version was born.

Sony Unveils Kratos on the Road Over European Highways 100°
March 19, 2010 // 12:54 pm - Today PR and Marketing Manager Andrej Dula of the Czech Republic and Slovakia has shared some pictures of Kratos on the road over European highways.

To quote: If, in the coming weeks, you see drivers with wide open eyes on the European highways, there are two likely explanations:

Either Europe was hit with (another!) severe snowstorm and spring is nowhere in sight, or they have just seen Kratos, the one and only God of War cruising on the road using his massive truck!

Google to Build Ultra-fast Broadband Networks in Select Areas 650°
February 10, 2010 // 7:48 pm - Today the AP reports that Google is planning to build ultra-fast broadband networks in select areas.

Feeling lucky? Apparently Google will seek input from communities that might be interested in getting one of its test networks which will deliver speeds of 1 gigabit per second.

That would be roughly 50 to 300 times faster than the DSL, cable and fiber-optic networks that connect most U.S. homes to the Internet today, at speeds typically ranging from 3 megabits to 20 megabits per second.
