52w ago - Following up on OpenCMA, today PS Vita homebrew developer Phexe updated his open-source PlayStation Vita Manager dubbed PS Veeter to version 0.8 Beta with the changes outlined below.

53w ago - Square Enix Community Project Manager Hergen Thaens posted up some PlayStation 4 Beta tips today for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on PS4.

To quote: It's now Saturday. The floodgates have opened, and our login servers are starting to grind their gears in earnest - the PS4 beta has begun!

For those of you that have not yet found your way into the realm of Eorzea, this is for you. If you haven't download the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn PS4 beta, just jump into PlayStation Store now.

First Steps

After you've logged in and updated the game, you can go straight to the character creation process. This is really straightforward - choose whatever suits you best! From hulking Roegadyn to tiny Lalafell, all is available to you.

But an important note: if you want to play with friends, you'll want to make sure that you choose classes that start in the same city! It's a long trip from city to city, until you do the quest to access a new travel method at level 15.

While you work yourself through the introduction, you'll be in an instance (a sealed-off area in the game) that only you are in. That's normal - as soon as you've finished the first few quests, you'll find yourself among tons of other players.

53w ago - Bethesda Softworks Global Community Lead Matt Grandstaff announced today that Wolfenstein: The New Order is out on 5/20 and invites fans to pre-order for Doom Beta access with details below.

To quote: The FPS legend that started it all returns this May! Today we're excited to announce that Wolfenstein: The New Order will arrive on both PS4 and PS3 on Tuesday, May 20th.

And while we're not talking about the game yet, we're excited to announce that with a pre-order of Wolfenstein: The New Order, you will be able to access the beta for the next DOOM game (details at Wolfenstein.com/DOOM).

Wolfenstein marks the first Bethesda-published game to arrive on PS4, and will be available on PlayStation Store day 1 for both PS4 & PS3. To quote: Hello everyone! Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn launches for PS4 on April 14th, 2014. Many players have questions about the beta, as well as the PS3-to-PS4 transfer process for accounts.

Folks were wondering who could participate in the beta, if they could use existing characters, if they needed an existing account, or could jump right in.

Well, luckily enough, today marks the reveal of a whole lot of answers you've been waiting for. And not just that - but also a trailer, fully recorded with PS4 in-game scenes.

Okay, let's get started with some information:

Beta Info

Phase 1: February 22nd to March 3rd.
Phase 2: April 4th to April 7th.

• Japanese Standard Time assumed for all dates.
• The beta will be accessible for everyone with a PS4, and directly downloadable from PlayStation Store.
• There will be a character wipe after phase 1.
