177w ago - Insomniac Games Senior Community Manager James Stevenson has made available some fresh video footage today of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One on the PS3 in co-op mode.

To quote: We're just a few days away from Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One releasing exclusively for PlayStation 3.

We hope you're looking forward to exploring Planet Magnus, upgrading your arsenal, and solving the mystery of the Creature Collector with your friends. With that in mind, we wanted to show you a sweet video we put together, highlighting the big co-op moments in the game.

It will take a team effort to steer a taxi through the vertical city streets of Luminopolis, or to coordinate the powerful turrets on the back of a massive robotic Guardian, and this video shows how players will have to work together.

Can't wait until next week to get a taste of Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One? You can check out an offline four-player co-op demo of the game right now, included on specially marked Blu-Ray and Combo Pack Blu-rays of the Sony Pictures film Zookeeper, starring Kevin James. Site News: PS3 News Quick Style Chooser Added, Seeking Logo 1100°
177w ago - This is just a quick PSA that we have now completed work integrating the PS3 News Quick Style Chooser into our Forums, Portal and 17 Subdomains hosted here which allows you to change the colors based on your preferences while browsing the site each day.

It can be found in the bottom left corner of each page here, and we will continue adding Styles to it frequently.

If anyone wishes to take a screenshot like HeyManHRU did HERE and fill in the colors you'd like to see we will do our best to add a Style under your UserName to pick from as time permits!

Finally, we are still offering $100 US for a new Site Logo... so far we have had a lot of GREAT design ideas in the ongoing thread with the criteria outlined below:

  • The logo should look decent with a transparent background, or able to be made that way upon being selected (most are).
  • The logo design should be unique so that when seen the first thing that comes to a viewer's mind is our site, not "Sony" or "PlayStation 3" so try to avoid using pics of the PS3 itself or...

Swingball 2 v0.1 PS3 Homebrew Game is Now Available

Swingball 2 v0.1 PS3 Homebrew Game is Now Available 250°
177w ago - Today PlayStation 3 developer ThatOtherDev has made available version 0.1 of the PS3 (and Wii) homebrew game called Swingball 2.

Download: Swingball 2 v0.1 PS3 Homebrew Game / Swingball 2 v0.1 Wii Homebrew Game

To quote: Here is the first and very early release of Swingball 2. Unlike its predecessor it is available not only for Wii but also for PS3 (with a PC version forthcoming).

There were some really cool user made levels for the original Swingball that did things I hadn't even thought of and I’m looking forward to seeing how people take advantage of the new stuff in this game.

There are now blocks that can be swung from but not walked on (they aren't solid). There are also tiles that will change the direction of gravity when you come in contact with them.

I haven't begun it yet but I plan to make a WYSIWYG editor which will make it even easier for people to create their own levels.

There is a lot left to do. The game currently just consists of a single test level.

PS3 controls:

  • Left analog stick = Move
  • Right analog stick = Aim
  • L1 = Jump
  • R1 = Swing

Wii controls:
