Never fear iPhone-loving Xbox 360 fanboys, because (ahem) has you covered with their new iNXES Xbox Live Friends app.

The application allows iPhone users to browse their Xbox Live friends lists just like they do on the Xbox 360. The app mimics the look of the new NXE interface and even supports Avatars.

Rumor: Next Metal Gear is Metal Gear Solid Touch for iPhone?! 200°
December 16, 2008 // 10:31 pm - Update: It's now confirmed, the next Metal Gear game will indeed be on the iPhone, and it's called Metal Gear Solid Touch.

What's more, courtesy of Konami we now have some details on the game. It's an original title set in the MGS4 universe, and consists of 8 stages (with the promise of more to be made available later).

It's obviously controlled via the touchpad (as opposed to the accelerometer), with a sniping screenshot looking a lot like the iPhone's zoom-in text editing setup.

Final Fantasy 'Crystal Defenders' iPhone Game Announced 100°
October 30, 2008 // 9:33 pm - According to Famitsu, Square Enix has announced today that a Final Fantasy related game called Crystal Defenders will be coming to the iPhone this winter.

According to a rough translation, the game will be a map-based "defense simulation" that uses the iPhone's touch interface.

Crash Bandicoot coming to an iPhone 100°

Polarbit are releasing Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3D for the iPhone.

Ok so it's no Mario Kart or GT5, but it show the way things are heading for the apple of Apples eye.

WWDC 2008: iPhone Games Hit in July 50°
June 9, 2008 // 4:57 pm - At its Worldwide Developers Conference today, Apple announced that the first full-fledged games for iPhone will be released alongside the launch of iPhone App Store this July.

SEGA's Super Monkey Ball will be one of the initial launch titles, featuring a whopping 110 stages spanning five worlds. Pricing is set at $9.99.

Other titles shown at the conference include Enigmo, Cro-Mag Rally, and a God of War-like 3D action game. Games less than 10 MB in size can be downloaded directly via the iPhone.

If larger, you'll have to use WiFi connection or iTunes...

Virgin platform for BBC iPlayer 50°
May 1, 2008 // 3:26 am - The BBC has signed a deal with internet and phone provider Virgin Media to make its iPlayer service available on TV. Virgin Media customers will be able to catch up on the past week's programmes without the need for downloading.

Malcolm Wall, the company's CEO of content, said it was "proud to be working with the BBC to continue to lead this revolution in TV viewing". The BBC has already reached a deal with games giant Nintendo to make its video on-demand tool available to Wii users.
