XDev Studio Announces Dead Nation Coming to PS Vita on April 15th

XDev Studio Announces Dead Nation Coming to PS Vita on April 15th 50°
46w ago - XDEV Studio Europe Associate Producer Rogan Ogden announced today that Dead Nation is coming to PS Vita on April 15th, 2014.

Below is the scoop, to quote: Back at E3 2013, the PS Vita version of Dead Nation was announced, and today I'm pleased to confirm that the game will be launching tomorrow. You'll finally be able to carry the zombie apocalypse in your pocket.

For those of you who still aren't in the know after the launch of the PS4 version last month, Dead Nation is a top-down, shoot 'em up style game set in an apocalyptic zombie world. This classic PSN game was originally developed by the talented team at Housemarque, also known for Resogun and Super Stardust HD.

Like the PS4 version of the game, the PS Vita version has been developed by our friends at Climax Studios, and they've faithfully recreated the classic experience of the original PS3 game. Journey through the campaign as Jack McReady or Scarlett Blake, or replay your favorite levels and compete for top scores in the single mission mode.

Prefer not to experience the apocalypse alone? You and a friend can play the game in both online or ad-hoc co-op. Make sure you upload your stats whenever possible to support your country in the global standings.

Dead Nation will cost $7.99, and the Road of Devastation...

PS Plus: Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition and Tomb Raider Free

PS Plus: Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition and Tomb Raider Free 50°
52w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer is here with this weeks PlayStation Plus update, which includes Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition and Tomb Raider free for PS Plus Members.

To quote: I think the best way to start off any new month is with two free PlayStation Plus games. For March we have Dead Nation: Apocalpyse Edition for your PlayStation 4 and Tomb Raider for your PlayStation 3. If you're unfamiliar with the original Dead Nation, it's a top-down twin-stick shooter that's best experienced with a friend.

Make sure you've got a strategy and plenty of items before you head out to take down hordes of zombies. The Apocalypse Edition was just announced last week, will be hitting PlayStation Store tomorrow, and it has some interesting benefits like an interactive live streaming option.

Then we have last year's critically acclaimed reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise. Witness Lara's growth from young archeologist to bad-ass adventurer as her expedition gets shipwrecked on a mysterious island. Lara has to do a lot to survive, including live through several impalings, explore her surroundings and hunt wildlife.

You can download Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition and Tomb Raider after the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow.
