CWCheat v0.2.2 Rev C released for PSP!

351w ago - Weltall let us know he has updated his PSP cheat utility dubbed CWCheat today. To quote from his e-mail:

Here it is, a new version of CWCheat: v0.2.2 REV C. This isn't a big release and it's mainly directed to cleaning up the situation created with the Rev. B version and fixing various problems.

Additionally a bug which locked the dump function after the use of the USB mass function is finally fixed, the pointer codes can now use the q part also alone and the 3.x build of the db download now has the support for the Web browser: this allows you to download the database also where it's required to login trough the browser in order to be able to connect to Internet.

PSP Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN-2 Update released!

351w ago - Miriam has returned with an update to his PSP Custom Firmware, dubbed 3.95 GEN-2. Users of the Firmware will be pleased to know that Miriam has patched up compatibility issues with a number of homebrew applications in this release, most notably SNES9XTYL and PSPTube.

Additionally, the author notes that all recently reported bugs concerning fat model PSP units have been fixed. As usual, installation and usage instructions can be found in the included readme file.

Note: Although this is considered a stable release, we are still recommending that all users create a basic Pandora setup before installing so that you can easily downgrade back to 3.90 M33 in case the Firmware is not running as expected.
 

Call Of Duty 4 Patch 1.6 Released, Includes New MP Maps

351w ago - Couple of days old, but I didn't see it posted... the Call of Duty 4 Map Pack was recently released. Patch 1.6 gives PC gamers 4 maps for free.

To quote: Infinity Ward has released patch 1.6 for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. This update includes 4 new maps: Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse and Creek. The map pack is also free unlike its Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts, which cost roughly $10. Also included in the patch are:

- Hardcore and old school server browser filters.
- Fix for a Denial of Service attack.
- Includes all the changes up to patch 1.5.

PSP Custom Firmware v3.95 GEN released!

352w ago - Miriam has released Custom Firmware 3.95 GEN for PSP, including full support for 3.X kernel based homebrew applications, as well as an integrated in-XMB recovery menu.

Note that the 1.5 kernel add-on from previous M33 releases is not compatible with 3.95 GEN, and at least 3.71 M33 Firmware must be installed beforehand.

AutoStart PRX Plug-In for M33 CFW for PSP released!

352w ago - Roe-ur-boat has released AutoStart PRX, a 3.90 M33 compatible Custom Firmware plug-in that, as the name implies, allows users to specify a list of up to four separate homebrew applications to load at launch.

Each application can be binded to certain keys. When that key is held during bootup, the PSP will automatically load your homebrew. As always, refer to the included readme file for installation and usage instructions.

To quote: Here's a small plug-in I've made that allows you to launch your homebrew at startup. You can configure it to launch up to four different eboots with the included configurator.

For example, by holding cross at start up, you can load one homebrew, while holding triangle will load another. Hope you like it!
