GT5: Grind A-Spec PS3 Project for Teensy Development Boards

GT5: Grind A-Spec PS3 Project for Teensy Development Boards 550°
210w ago - This PS3 project might help someone out there to use their Teensy development boards for at least something, I call it my GT5: Grind A-Spec babysitter.

I got the idea from a mate of mine who used a keypad with paper wedged in to keep the enter key depressed and a controller with rubber bands and presstic. I don't own a usb keuboard or keypad, so I asked some questions and did some reading and this is the result.

Keep in mind I know nothing about programming and I can not help with other development boards.. although the code is very simple, I had to ask for advice.

Thanks to Paul at PJRC for doing the code for me.

1. Download and install Arudino Software
2. Download and install Teensy Loader
3. Download and install Teensyduino installer
4. Run the Teensyduino installer (You must select the location where you extracted the Arduino Software)
5. Run the Arudino software and the Teensy loader
6. Plug in the Teensy development board into a USB slot
7. Copy the following code into the Arduino software

Edit: re-uped... last version was too big, cut down on background music size... 25megs was too much, download this one instead.

Finally, below are some other recent MultiMAN Themes from this thread with preview pics:

FBANext r423 Custom v2 PS3 Emulator Includes Custom HD Mode 1300°

Download: FBANext r423 Custom v2 PS3 Emulator / Source Code

FBANext PS3 SVN r423 Changelog:

WHAT'S NEW:

  • Core - updated fm.c fmopl.c with to match latest mame.
  • PS3 - added triple buffer option (check options to toggle). Triple buffering
    will be stored in xml

CUSTOM CHANGES:

  • A much faster graphics driver - try CPS3 and CPS2 games and feel and see the difference in terms of speed. Most of the input lag noticed by experienced arcade players should be mostly gone now.
  • Triple-buffering is hardforced to be enabled by default - together with the new graphics driver makes the framerate very fast.
  • Sysutil OSD is used for some parts of the In-Game menu, such as saving a savestate, saving a button preset, or generating a clrmame.dat file, and so on.
