Disgruntled Ex-GameStop Employee Takes it to YouTube

Disgruntled Ex-GameStop Employee Takes it to YouTube 300°
338w ago - Below is a video of YouTube rants from a former GameStop employee known only as 'WhistleBlowerZero', who has made a 9 part (!) series in the style of Zero Punctuation to explain exactly how bad GameStop is to employees and customers alike.

Many of the tidbits within will hardly be a surprise to anyone who's ever set foot in one of their stores and/or had the misfortune of working retail, but the series seems to be targeted more at the casual consumer and perhaps people who think working at GameStop sounds like a great job.

Warhammer Online: Get Your Free BETA Keys

Warhammer Online: Get Your Free BETA Keys 200°
339w ago - It's official, I'm finally getting my knees deep in an MMO for once. Usually I let Major handle these dirty tasks so that I myself don't get sucked in, but when I heard of free beta keys at 5:00 AM in the morning I couldn't resist but to grab one myself.

Multiplay is currently handing out 50,000 free beta keys. All you have to do is visit the page below sign up an account, and then head back to the link I posted. Fill out your birthday along with you language, and request a key.

If you are rejected for a key, don't start weeping just yet. Go back, and complete the same process in another language. It will usually spit out a key after your second or third try!

At least it their are enough keys by then. We ourselves have one extra key we will be giving out if all else fails for your success of becoming a destined WAR player. All you got to do is register an account, and post a comment here with your account name. Those who commented with the correct information will be put into a raffle (which will occur around 5:30 tomorrow morning), and produce a winner. Before you retreat to luck we do suggest you try your chance out at Multiplay with the link below!.

16 PS3 Tricks Sony Doesn't Tell You!

16 PS3 Tricks Sony Doesn't Tell You! 500°
339w ago - Months ago TechRadar released a list of 10 tricks that Sony hasn't revealed to no one. Well guess what, that's not all! There are now 16 PS3 tricks that Sony hasn't mentioned to anyone. Are there still more secrets that Sony is trying to hide from us. We will find out soon...

(1) Play games from any country
Harbouring a desire to play Super Gaiden Ninja XI? Now you can. In fact, you can handily play any PS3 game from any country. On holiday in the States and spot the latest release at a bargain dollar-to-pound price? Help yourself. So far, at least, PS3 games aren't being region coded. That said PS2 and PS1 games are so you can't play a US title on a Euro console.

And let's not forget that Blu-ray movies are region-coded so the barriers aren't completely down yet.

(2) The secret video reset
One of the most annoying aspects of the PS3 are its video settings. Take it up to the bedroom portable or round to a friend's house and there's a good chance that you won't be able to see anything on screen because your 'new' TV is running at a different resolution or using a different cable connection. And - because you can't see anything - you can't change it.

Operate Your Computer with Wii Controllers

Operate Your Computer with Wii Controllers 50°
340w ago - Nintendo doesn't exactly advertise it, but the remotes for the Wii gaming console (including the balance board that comes with Wii Fit) have Bluetooth capabilities.

That means you can connect your Wii peripherals to your computer to operate the media center hooked up to your TV, play emulated games with a Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or even a Balance Board, and pretty much have them do anything you can do with a keyboard. Let's walk through linking up your Wii peripherals and putting them in control of your Mac, PC, or Linux box.

To give you an idea of what you can do with a Wii/PC hook-up, here's a look at one neat example: Controlling Windows Media Center from a distance, without having to shell out for a separate remote control.

Enjoy!
