April 17, 2009 // 12:29 pm - Hackers have apparently found a way to dump DSiWare games, but at the moment they are useless dumps as the games are unplayable.

The most recent title in the range to be dumped is Art Style: Code but until the DSi is fully cracked, no hackers will be able to play these dumps.

To quote: DSi Ware games may have been only made available in the US and Europe for a little over 2 weeks, but that has not stopped hackers from figuring out how the DSi Shop works and starting to dump DSi Ware games, making them available for download.

The update is for BD+ and makes the format secure once more, after companies like SlySoft, creators of the AnyDVD HD software, bragged about finding a way around the disc's DRM.

Admittedly, someone called James on the SlySoft forums does think that the new update won't hold for long, saying that he "estimates February 2009 for the new BD+ to be defeated."
