PSP Custom Firmware 3.90 M33-2 released! 50°
February 13, 2008 // 2:45 pm - Update: Following the release of CFW 3.80/3.90 M33, some users experienced lag when loading compressed files and plug-ins from the memory stick. The patch below allows users to load the original 3.71 fatms driver on 3.80 and 3.90 M33 series Firmware to resolve this issue.

Note that while this patch will increase memory stick read speed, the 3.71 fatms driver will require use of more kernel memory.

PSP 1.5 Kernel Add-on v2 for 3.90 M33 CFW released! 50°
February 9, 2008 // 4:57 pm - Dark_AleX released an update today for the 1.50 kernel add-on for standard PSP units running Custom Firmware 3.90 M33.

The update adds support for memory sticks greater than 4GB in size under the 1.5 kernel and fixes a display bug that affected TA-86 units when resuming from sleep mode.

To install, simply copy the "150k_installer" folder to GAME and run the installer from the PSP's Game menu.

PSP Custom Firmware v3.90 M33 & v1.5 Kernel Add-On released! 50°
January 31, 2008 // 3:12 pm - Dark_AleX has updated to PSP M33 CFW v3.90 today! The firmware update can be applied either directly via Network Update if you're already on 3.80 M33, or by following the manual instructions below.

The previously released 3.80 M33 POPSLoader does work with 3.90 M33. However, you cannot run the 3.80 POPS with it. Also released today is a 1.5 kernel add-on for regular (non-Slim) PSP units running 3.90 M33. Instructions for installing the add-on are provided below as well.

PSP Custom Firmware 3.80 M33-3 and PopsLoader released! 50°
January 16, 2008 // 1:51 pm - Update: Due to an error on his part, Dark_AleX has now quickly updated to PSP CFW 3.80 M33-4 as a bug fix. Changelog as follows:

- galaxy.prx was changed to a new version that is giving problems with slow memory sticks. Reverted back to previous versions. This didn't only affect decrypted isos running in NP9660 mode.

Dark_AleX has released an update to the recently released 3.80 M33-2 Custom Firmware. Now at 3.80 M33-3, the latest release adds a couple of libs to the nids resolver and fixes a synchronization...

PSP Custom Firmware 3.80 M33 and M33-2 Fix Released! 100°
January 14, 2008 // 2:35 pm - Update: Dark_AleX has now released a 3.80 M33 1.50 Add-On for FAT PSPs running 3.80 M33 only.

Instructions:

- Copy the files in the release to a directory called anything BUT UPDATE
- Move the directory you created to /PSP/GAME/.
- Get the Sony 1.50 update and copy it to the root with name "150.PBP"
- Run the program and done.
