To quote: Hi, this is James Biddulph here, solo developer at Jamo Games with some exclusive info on Inner City Kids!

Inner City Kids is a street culture themed, turn based strategy game for PS Vita that follows a group of friends who, upon discovering that the city's adults are being kidnapped and replaced by robots every evening, team up to fight for their city. They soon discover that the plot goes much deeper than they expected - quite literally!

30w ago - Curve Studios PR and Marketing Manager Rob Clarke announced their Sci-fi Puzzler dubbed The Swapper is out today on PS3, PS4 and PS Vita platforms!

To quote: We initially started work on The Swapper way back in Christmas when the weather outside our London office was cold and miserable, and days were short and dark.

Now the sun is shining, spirits are up, and we're set to release our 9th indie game and one we are incredibly proud of having brought it to PlayStation.

Created by Facepalm Games and designed by Olli Harjola and Otto Hantula in their spare time while at university, The Swapper falls under the term "indie" by most definitions, but you might be surprised by what it offers.

It's not a puzzle platformer, there are no double jumps, and there's no shooting. The graphics are superbly detailed and make full use of each console's hardware, the music is dark and immersive, and the plot and writing rival anything you'll find in bigger budget games.

Of course, we would say that, right? Don't just take our word for it though. Instead, take a minute out, find some headphones, and load up our new trailer, which not only shows off some...

Digital Dreams: Metrico is Out Today on PS Vita, Free for PS Plus

Digital Dreams: Metrico is Out Today on PS Vita, Free for PS Plus 50°
30w ago - Digital Dreams Level Designer Roy van de Mortel announced that Metrico is out today on PS Vita and is free for PS Plus members!

To quote: Today is the day. Metrico is available now on PS Vita. We have one more post on Metrico to celebrate this and share some insights about Trophies and PS Plus, but we'd like to start out with the premiere of the Metrico Release trailer!

Metrico Trophies

Since experimenting is the very core of Metrico, we wanted to incorporate this in every aspect of the game as part of our holistic design process. This means we took quite some time to come up with a cool - possibly rather difficult - set of Trophies for the game.

We decided to make all of them hidden and see how long it takes for you to figure them out and spread them across the internet. As such, it wouldn't make much sense to spoil them here, but I can talk about them a little bit:

There are a total of 11 Trophies in the game. Each of Metrico's six worlds have unique Trophies, which can be earned by completing each world while meeting specific requirements. There are a couple more obvious Trophies scattered throughout the game that will also prove to be difficult to find and solve... Good luck...

Video: Velocity 2X Launches on PS4 and PS Vita September 2nd 50°
30w ago - FuturLab Managing Director James Marsden announced that Velocity 2X launches on PS4 and PS Vita platforms this September 2nd alongside a video trailer below.

To quote: Hi folks, I'm just gonna put this out there: Velocity 2X is a game-of-the-year winner.

"WUT?!" "This?...no way" "...looks indie man"... "NO WAY!"... Yes way. Now I'm gonna prove it. First up: wrap your face around our new trailer:

#LIKEABAUS - The first thing you'll want to pay attention to: AWESOME BOSS FIGHTS!

You can even fly your ship inside the bosses in order to destroy them from the inside out - on foot - brand new gameplay for the Velocity franchise. Also 360-degree shooting, tele-dashing through obstacles, throwing telepods and much more (we've hidden loads of never-before-seen footage in the trailer - go watch it again!)

Kickingass as Lt. Kai Tana looks and feels amazing - especially if you remember games like Flashback and Turrican 2 in terms of art style and 360-degree running and gunning.

The idea of shooting a boss in your ship,...

Video: Table Top Racing Launches on PlayStation Vita Today

Video: Table Top Racing Launches on PlayStation Vita Today 50°
30w ago - Playrise Digital CEO Nick Burcombe shared a PS Vita video trailer announcing that Table Top Racing launches on PlayStation Vita today.

To quote: Hi! Nick Burcombe here from Playrise Digital, the team behind Table Top Racing on PS Vita. You may have seen my blog post a couple of weeks ago - hello again, if that's the case!

Table Top Racing is out today, so I'm back to show you guys the brand new launch trailer... As it's launch day, I thought I'd give you guys a few tactical tips before you start revving your engines.

First and foremost, make sure you upgrade your car as you progress - otherwise you won't keep up with the competition. Things get even more interesting when you start experimenting with Weapon-Wheels.

In conjunction with the power-ups, the wheel weapons will give you a real strategic advantage, so think carefully about your selection before each race.

There are 17 fully upgradeable cars, all of which come with some cool skins. You start off with a choice between the Whippy Kai-Yay! Ice Cream Van or the Hippy Bathday Campervan, but in no time at all you'll be upgrading through to the likes of Rally Cars, suped-up pick-up trucks and hyper-cars like the Veloceratti and the Baguetti Carb Injection - we had a lot of fun with the car names.
