August 29, 2007 // 2:11 pm - Noob2psp has just released a new homebrew application which has the following functions - restore dead pixels, change CPU speed, restore the defauly XMB theme and the ability to BRICK your PSP (to test Pandora's Battery).

I have just released my Homebrew app PSPRestore Beta 2. What can you do with this app? Well, with this app can you restore your psp in just a few seconds. Here a list with the current functions of the Beta 2:

    MasterBoy v2.01 for PSP released! 50°
    August 27, 2007 // 3:08 am - Brunni has released a new version of MasterBoy. MasterBoy is a Game Boy, Sega Master and Game Gear Emulator for the PSP. It features a skinnable interface with nice effects and quite a lot of options. You can also listen to your favorite VGM and GYM files with the included music player.

    August 27, 2007 // 2:33 am - Weltall has updated to v0.1.9 Rev C today! v0.1.9 REV.C changes:

    - [ALL] now the text reader supports up to 128 text files per id: Press L/R to go to the previous/next text file. The name is similar to how the cheat.db name works: The first file is named with just the id.txt (just like now), all the others are the id + the number + .txt

    eg: with SLUS_12345 as id. The first file is SLUS_12345.txt the next SLUS_123451.txt,SLUS_123452.txt~SLUS_12345127.txt

    PSP Custom IPL released! 50°
    August 26, 2007 // 3:50 pm - Moonlight has released the first PSP custom IPL, which is an extension of the firmware 1.5 IPL providing numerous features.

    Feature for user:

    - It bypasses ta-082+ brick, so you can have a ta-082+ without any key patched running 1.50 kernel based firmwares.

    Feature for programmer:

    - It dumps 0xbfc00000, the psp boot code prior to ipl, to the address 0x883e0000 (which is not touched by 1.50 kernel). To get the boot code in a 1.50 original firmware, just run kdumper, and extract 0x3e0000-0x3effff from the kmem.bin file -> that's the psp...

    Watchdog Group Challenges ESRB Re-rate of Manhunt 2 to 50°
    August 26, 2007 // 10:49 am - Just one day after Rockstar Games announced that Manhunt 2 had secured an M Rating in the US, media watchdog group Campaign For a Commercial-Free Childhood has challenged the decision by the ESRB to re-rate the game, and is demanding to know why it has been allowed a lower rating than the previously Adult Only (AO) it received.

    I think we'd all like to know what was cut from Manhunt 2, but only one thing's for sure. Manhunt 2. October 31st.

    +don't need to place the unused pgf font files in memstick anymore, u could simply place the files u need, for example: ltn0.pgf
