Is Nintendo Ripping Us Off With Wii 'New Play Control' Versions?

50°
318w ago - In the past we've seen some great examples of games that have been re-released in ways that improve the original, re-working content for a new audience to help spread the word of great games of the past.

However, re-releasing classics no matter how anticipated, is a practice that will always provoke scepticism, especially from an easily remorseful buyer.

Chinese Gamers Will Have to Give Real Names to Play Online?

50°
319w ago - According to China Daily, China is to start requiring gamers to register for online games with their real names!

It isn't confirmed when this new policy will go live, but it sounds pretty drastic if it is indeed true.

Four online game companies' operations have been suspended after it was found that their software did not have the mandatory anti-addiction system, he said in Qingdao on Wednesday.

Better yet, your Dragon Punches, Flash Kicks, and That-Thing-Vega-Does-Where-He-Jumps-Off-The-Edge-Of-The-Screen-And-Suplexes-Fools will count for Team PlayStation in a friendly bout vs the readers of Microsoft's Major Nelson!

Here's how it works: We'll hold a tournament on the PLAYSTATION 3 version of Street Fighter IV to determine the best PlayStation player. This fantastic and charismatic individual will be awarded a Collector's Edition Street Fighter IV, before taking on the Microsoft winner. This person will then be victorious, because they're just that special. Capiche?
