The XCM Cross Battle Adapter for the PlayStation 3 will be making its debut here within the next couple of weeks.

It is an adapter to allow you to connect your Xbox 360 wired controller to your PlayStation 3 console for use with PS3 games.

We've received a bunch of emails from people wanting this type of accessory, so here it is.

TGS 2008: PS3 Peripheral Charging AC Adapter Announced 100°
October 10, 2008 // 9:21 pm - Those of you with only two USB ports can now rejoice... Sony is releasing an AC Adapter (pictured below) for the Japanese market on December 18th for 2,800 yen (about $28 USD).

This peripheral will allow you to charge your DualShock 3/SIXAXIS controllers or any other accessories independent of your PS3, thereby freeing up those precious USB ports.

The wireless keypad will also debut in Japan on the same day for 5,500 yen (about $55 USD).

Keep in mind prices in Japan tend to be higher, so when these products debut in the US, they will likely retail for less.

Nintendo unveils Wi-Fi Network Adapter for Japan 50°
September 8, 2008 // 2:23 pm - Nintendo has unveiled a wireless router/bridge for sale (in Japan) that works to connect your Wii, DS and/or PC to the Internet.

Famitsu (linked above) has more picss of it, including a router/bridge switch. The router costs you 5,800 (US $53). No word on a release outside of Japan, although the Wi-Fi USB Connector has reportedly been discontinued, so it'd make sense to have this as a replacement.

The Wi-Fi Network Adaptor will be available via Nintendo Japan's Web site on September 18.

This appears to be good news for less tech-savvy folks, for which...
