In the post, PR manager Jiro Oishi says the following after talking about touring Japan to show off the co-op play in Peace Walker, to quote:

Naughty Dog Announces Uncharted 2 Multiplayer Surprise Coming 250°
November 25, 2009 // 6:47 am - Update: JoyStiq.com has now confirmed that The Fort (video below), a brand new multiplayer map supposedly based on the "Fortress" chapter of Drake's Fortune, will arrive on Black Friday.

Changes include adding Global and Friends list Leaderboards to the Multiplayer menu with the following categories: Global Competitive Wins, Global Co-op, Global Kills, Global Money, Friends Competitive Wins, Friends Co-op, Friends Kills, and Friends Money.

Video: Risen on PC Has Gone Gold, Cinematic Trailer Available 50°
September 29, 2009 // 8:31 pm - The latest RPG from Deep Silver, Risen, is ready for it's worldwide release on Friday, October 2nd.

There is also an Xbox 360 version of Risen which will be released in Europe on Friday. Sadly, North American 360 gamers will have to wait until next year to play the game.

Video: G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra E3 Trailer is Now Available 100°
June 1, 2009 // 5:55 pm - Well thank goodness EA has brought everyone's favorite hero G.I Joe back to your tv screens. What? He's not your favorite hero.. Wait he never blew anything up in his tv show, "Well not anymore."

EA's released the E3 video for Double Helix's G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra.

The trailer below shows G.I Joe taking on Cobra. It's out for Nintendo DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and X360 on August 7, alongside the live-action movie of the same name.

The game takes up where the movie leaves off, and comes complete with co-op mode.

Report: Desktop PC Game Sales Rise by 18 Per Cent 100°
May 31, 2009 // 2:10 am - PC Gaming Alliance research indicates desktop game sales rose 18 percent worldwide last year; installed base stands at 228 million.

According to the PCGA's 2008 Horizon's Report, PC gaming software saw revenues reach $12.7 billion in 2008 which is a rise of $1.9 billion, or nearly 18 percent.

Overall, the study found that the PC software and hardware market stood at $68 billion in 2008, with the PCGA saying that number is expected to balloon to $143 billion by 2013.

More than 42 million PC desktops and 31 million notebooks capable of playing games were shipped...

Windows 7 'Hardware Tax' Unveiled is No Surprise to Consumers 350°
May 8, 2009 // 2:03 am - Hardware requirements are always a concern among PC consumers since manufacturers scrounge to put the lowest possible hardware specs while still promising all the bells and whistles on them.

Something tells us this might not be the case with Windows 7 though.
