November 6, 2009 // 8:58 pm - Sony has recently released a new multi-function Bluetooth laser mouse with it's new Vaio X, CW and L range of laptops.

The new VGP-BMS80 can:

Sony Refuses to Replace Backwards-Compatible PS3 Consoles 750°
April 15, 2009 // 11:27 pm - A TAWKN (linked above) user who goes by dn2500f has had his 80GB PS3 with backwards-compatibility at Sony's repair center in Ontario, Canada for three weeks now.

Sony apparently only offered to give him a new model 80GB PS3, which does not include PS2 support (over 1,900 PS2 games that he can no longer play).

PS3 DivX Functionality Coming 50°
December 14, 2007 // 6:33 pm - We met with DivX earlier today to discuss their upcoming plans, and one of the topics that came up was support for the PS3 console. According to the company, they expect the previously announced firmware update to hit the PS3 soon, which will enable full DivX support for the console.

Though no specific time frame was given for this upgrade, their particular emphasis on saying it was coming soon leads us to believe it's "coming in a week or two" soon, as opposed to "4 months down the road" soon.

Hirai talks PS3 price drops, backwards compatibility, and more! 50°
November 7, 2007 // 5:45 pm - Speaking to Famitsu, Playstation supremo Kaz Hirai discussed a variety of juicy PS3 issues including further price drops, the lack of backwards compatibility in newer models and Monster Hunter's move to the Wii.
