UK Royal Navy Issues PSPs to Sailors for Training Sessions 300°
November 29, 2009 // 10:56 pm - According to (linked above), the British Royal Navy sailors in the UK are being issued with PSPs in order to help them with their training.

Apparently, the PSP units come preloaded with slides and commentary which are about 8-12 minutes per training session.

To quote: "While the US builds PS3-based grids for cracking passwords, the UK is buying Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) units and issuing them to Royal Navy sailors for use in training. The units come preloaded with study packages of slides and commentary and are about 8-12 minutes per session.

PS3 Trophy Sync Issues to be Remedied with Faster PSN in 2010 500°
November 25, 2009 // 12:12 am - Today Dutch site (linked above) is reporting that those experiencing synchronization issues with PS3 Trophies can expect the dreaded 80022A07 error to be remedied in 2010 when Sony's PlayStation Network will become faster.

It is not yet known if this speed increase will only benefit Paid Subscribers, however, according to the Sony Rep they spoke with new servers will be added early next year.

Sony: PS3 Blu-ray Issues Are Not Firmware-Related 550°
October 1, 2009 // 9:04 pm - Recently we held a poll here to see how many users experienced issues after updating to PS3 Firmware 3.01, which was released to fix the issues that v3.0 was plagued with.

Sony Issues Letter to BBC's Watchdog on PS3 Failure Report 650°
September 17, 2009 // 5:53 pm - Update: The BBC has aired the show (videos below), during which it admitted that a number of the consoles it repaired for consumers have once again broken.

Tonight, the BBC Watchdog program will feature the PS3 and claim that Sony refuses to fix systems which suffer from the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD).

In response, Sony has issued a lengthy letter right back to the BBC as follows:

Update on PS3 Firmware 3.00: Sony Aware of Issues, Fix Coming 550°

Sony Acknowledges Fat Princess Online Issues, Working on Fix 300°
August 2, 2009 // 6:43 am - Sony acknowledged that Fat Princess has been having somewhat of a rocky start, complete with lag and random connection issues.

The problem isn't effecting all users, though its been widespread enough to warrant a response from Sony.

PlayStation Home Manager Issues a Warning to Members 650°
July 15, 2009 // 6:42 am - It appears Sony is cracking down on those who are sharing their PSN identification and password to grant select items in PlayStation Home.

PSN game sharing is also labeled as violating the ToS later in the PS Forum thread (linked above).
