Codemasters Reveals Their Next Great FPS Bodycount 50°
March 17, 2010 // 6:51 pm - Codemasters member Stuart Black summed up Bodycount's interactive environment by the following, to quote via IGN:

Take a gun to a wooden weapons crate, and it will slowly, believably disintegrate, the wood chipping away to reveal a more stubborn metal frame and within an ammo box that sits atop a bundle of straw - shoot the ammo box and as you'd expect it's fireworks time.

iD Software Confident RAGE Will Be 60fps on All Platforms 50°
July 31, 2009 // 8:55 pm - In the latest Edge magazine, John Carmack of iD Software states that the Xbox 360 version of RAGE just about matches the 60fps framerate of the PC version, while the PS3 only runs the game at around 20-30fps at this stage in development.

Kaos FPS Homefront Announced, Set in North Korea-occupied US 50°
May 27, 2009 // 6:22 pm - Kaos Studios just announced Homefront, an FPS set in an America occupied by North Korea.

The game promises a story-driven single-player game as well as multiplayer, and will release for PC, PS3 and 360.
No release date has been given.

EA is Working on the Best FPS Ever, New Medal of Honor Update? 100°
May 5, 2009 // 8:44 pm - In late 2007, Electronic Arts Los Angeles took a crack at returning its Command & Conquer franchise to the first-person shooter genre with Tiberium.
