132w ago - Sanzaru Games President Glen Egan has made available a new Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time video trailer from Gamescom 2012 today confirming that fans who buy once will get it on PS3 and PS Vita.

To quote: Hello from Germany! I'd like to talk about the cool stuff we're showing off at this year's Gamescom for Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time.

First and foremost, we'd like to introduce you to a new Cooper ancestor, Salim Al Kupar. You'll meet Salim as Sly travels back in time to the enchanted world of ancient Arabia - a land of magic genies, flying carpets and lost treasures.

Sly quickly discovers that Salim is nearing retirement and looking forward to taking a little break from thievery, but recent events have put an end to those plans! Now Sly and the gang will need to goad the slightly recalcitrant Salim back into action as they work together to restore his legacy.

We're also giving you a look at a brand new mission in Arabia so you can see Salim in action. We find him on a quest to free one of the members of his band of thieves from a strange imprisonment. To do so, he must use his signature ability - the Cobra Climb.

This technique allows him to rapidly ascend vertical ropes, chains or poles to quickly evade an attack. This comes in very handy as he makes...

Video: Naughty Dog on The Last of Us: The Making of a Cinematic

132w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer has shared a The Last of Us video today covering the making of a cinematic below.

To quote: Yesterday at Gamescom in Germany Troy Baker, the voice of Joel, and Ashley Johnson, the voice of Ellie, took the stage with moderator Arne Meyer, Community Strategist at Naughty Dog, to talk about the cinematic process, the performances, and the creative ideas at play in The Last of Us.

Before the presentation began, our game's directors had a few words to say about the project.

In order to make everything Bruce and Neil discuss in the video a reality, the performances of Troy, Ashley, and every actor involved play a crucial role. Performance capture is a long, time-intensive process.

It involves tight mocap suits, long hours, a ton of writing and often some fortuitous ad-lib. We called attention to these performances – one of the first steps to the game's cinematic process – at our panel during San Diego Comic Con.

At Gamescom, we went deeper into the process, and now you can watch the raw mocap for the cinematic that introduced Bill, played by W. Earl Brown.

132w ago - Insomniac Games Production Director Shaun McCabe has announced today alongside a video that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault unzips both PS Vita support and a Competitive Mode with details below!

To quote: Hey everyone, I'm Shaun McCabe, production director at Insomniac Games' North Carolina studio.

Since this is my first PS.Blog post, I'll briefly introduce myself. I joined the company in 2003 during the development of Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, but I've been an Insomniac fan going all the way back to Disruptor on the PlayStation.

As you may have heard, yesterday we announced that our dynamic duo's latest adventure, Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault, is coming to both PS3 and PS Vita!

Working closely with our friends at Tin Giant, who are helping bring the game to PS Vita, we're delivering full cross-play and cross-save support. So, the ever-popular, "Well, I'd love to be playing Ratchet & Clank right now, but am stuck at the bus stop/office/police station/etc." can no longer apply.

Not only will the game feature cross-play and cross-save, but it's also part of a super-cool promotional offer where anyone who purchases Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault for PS3 via PlayStation...

Video: Remember Me PS3 Sticks In The Mind at Gamescom 2012

132w ago - Capcom Social and Community Manager Neil Gorton has shared a video spotlighting Remember Me for PS3, which he proclaims sticks in the mind at Gamescom 2012.

To quote: Capcom is pleased to announce its brand new title Remember Me for PlayStation 3, shown for the first time yesterday during our press conference at gamescom!

Players will take on the role of Nilin and be swept into the future world of Neo-Paris where memories are bought and sold in an age where social media and sharing have been taken to the extreme.

Once a feared enforcer for the agency that controls this information, Nilin finds her memory wiped clean and must fight to find out the truth about who she is and why this was done to her.

Not only does Remember Me look absolutely stunning but the gameplay is something Capcom is really proud of. Not only are there moments of extreme action on par with any big name game out on the market today but stealth and cunning are equally as important in this augmented world.

Combat, as you can expect from Capcom, is satisfyingly bone-crunching with plenty of opportunities to execute mind blowing combos.

Perhaps most interesting of all, however, is the ability to hack into the memories of your chosen targets. This...
