Why Halo 3 and CoD4 Map Pack Pricing Makes No Sense 50°
April 16, 2008 // 11:19 pm - While both Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4 have given gamers hours upon hours of entertainment, sometimes fragging people in the same setting can start to get a little stale. Lately, we've seen a couple of new maps packs released, the latest being the Legendary Map Pack for Halo 3, as well as the recent Variety Map Pack for Call of Duty 4.

Both map packs retail for 10 US dollars (or 800 points in Microsoft land), and give gamers three, or in CoD4's case four, new maps to tool around with. Although to be realistic, not all of these maps are truly new, as two of the Legendary pack's...

Why Microsoft Newton is a stupid idea! 50°
April 16, 2008 // 1:06 am - A few days ago a rumor started that Microsoft were making a motion-sensing controller, codenamed Newton, that looked very similar to the Wii remote.

Now fortunately I managed to resist making some stupid Isaac Newton joke in the title like: 'New 360 remote isn't down to earth' or '360 Motion control, a bad apple waiting to fall'. Ok enough with the the Newton jokes, they barely even make sense. Lets get this over and done with.

For those of you who don't know, the Microsoft motion sensing controller promises to have a microphone, speaker, A, B, X and Y buttons,...

October 18, 2007 // 1:24 pm - Raphael has updated to JoySens for 3.71 M33 CFW. JoySens is a plug-in that, for example, allows PSP users to to tweak the analog stick's sensitivity allowing for more precise movement while playing an FPS.

Download: JoySens v1.2 For 3.71 M33 CFW

From the author: I found time today to update my second PSP to 3.71M33 and test a method for making JoySens 1.2 available under that firmware. For now it seems to work fine, but it is next to untested atm, so I cannot yet guarantee it to work 100%.

Student Tasered at Senator's speech- Police Brutality? 50°
September 18, 2007 // 2:03 am - According to the AP, a University of Florida student was Tasered and arrested Monday (Sept. 17) when he attempted to speak at a forum with Sen. John Kerry. The student struggled with as many as four campus police shouting 'What did I do?' when they tried removing him.

Happened to catch the video tonight and although the guy seemed a bit obnoxious I'm not sure with 4 police officers (who could help remove him) it was necessary to taser him... others thoughts on this?
