God of War III Exclusive: Even Gods Cry Music Video Interview

300°
255w ago - Today Associate Producer William Weissbaum has shared an exclusive God of War III music video interview dubbed 'Even Gods Cry' on the PlayStation Blog.

To quote: With the recent release of the God of War III Ultimate Edition, many of you, when not busy swinging those double deadly Blades of Chaos, have been rocking nonstop to the sounds of the God of War: Blood & Metal album.

One of the tracks in particular has been gaining rapidly in popularity, "Even Gods Cry" by The Turtlenecks. With its haunting melody and thoughtful lyrics, it's no wonder that it has many fans tapping their feet and scratching their heads.

After much pleading and begging Matthew Cappiello and Noah Belson, the illusive Turtlenecks themselves, agreed to allow the PS.Blog to have the world exclusive premiere of the "Even Gods Cry" music video.

Better yet they were kind enough to sit down with me and answer a few questions providing some true insight to the men behind the music.

What Inspired you to write "Even Gods Cry"?

Noah Belson: What inspired DaVinci to paint The Last Supper? Or Mike Angelo to take brush to the Sistine...

Video: God Of War III PS3 Glitch - Float and Walk Through Walls!

350°
256w ago - Last week we reported on a God of War III PS3 glitch that gives users all the weapons, and today another has surfaced that allows you to float and walk through walls.

In the following video you see that Kratos can trudge through a thick wall and even float.

To quote from atethenojeans via YouTube:

"Just after the first time you see the Three Judges. This was an accident, but I was able to replicate many times.

It has no useful aspects, it just happens to be there. Normally you go down the wall instead of jump gliding over the top like I did."

500°
257w ago - Alongside GOW3 patch update version 1.01, today a new God of War III PS3 glitch discovered allows you to start a game under any difficulty with all the weapons fully maxed out.

While the patch from SCE Santa Monica Studio doesn't fix the glitch yet, it reportedly weighs in at 5377 KB and fixes wireless controller issues many users had.

To activate the PlayStation 3 glitch, simply perform the following, to quote:

1. Unlock Combat Arena by beating the story once and then clearing the Challenges of Olympus mode.

2. In the Combat Arena option screen, set Kratos' Health to "Level 1" and difficulty to "Titan." Set up the Enemies option with creatures that can kill you quickly and start the battle.

3. In the Combat Arena, die five times in a row and the game will prompt you to switch to Easy mode. Select "No" to exit to the main menu.

4. You should hear two different music tracks playing over each other. Furthermore, the Maxed Out! trophy will be unlocked if you didn't already have it. From the main menu, select "New Game" and the difficulty of your choice to activate the glitch.

Video: God of War - Fate of the Titan on GOW Collection PS3 Disc

300°
257w ago - With the new Spartans Stand Tall site showing a storm brewing and God of War - Fate of the Titan unlockable video on the GOW Collection PS3 disc, speculation has begun on what the next title in the series will be.

Sony Santa Monica has stated that while God of War III is the last in the current story arc, it will not be the last game in the series... hinting that the next game will feature a new hero.

What many might not know is that featured on the God of War Collection PS3 disc is a "Fate of the Titan" video that can be unlocked after beating the game on Spartan Mode.

For those who don't mind spoilers, to quote: The video shows present day footage as the narrator (Gai) explains that "All myths need not be from ancient times" as a band of explorers are shown finding and opening Pandora's Temple.

The video ends with Gai saying, "Soon as with all great myths, a new hero will emerge."

It is worth noting that the video says Chronos the Titan lives another thousand years after the first God of War, but Chronos is actually killed in God of War III by Kratos.

Additionally, the skull of Chronos has a hole in it, in the exact same location that Kratos stabs and kills Chronos with the Blade of...

Video: God Of War 3 PS3 Glitch - Skip Battling Hermes

350°
258w ago - Update: Examiner.com also uncovered a God Of War 3 PS3 Trophy glitch in which you can obtain a trophy without meeting the requirements.

To quote: "The "Maxed Out!" silver trophy can normally be acquired by upgrading all the weapons in the story mode to the maximum with red orbs.

To do so, players must string together high combos and painstakingly search for hidden treasure chests throughout the adventure. This can be tough when playing at a higher difficulty levels."

A God Of War 3 PS3 glitch has recently surfaced which allows users to skip the boss Hermes if they find battling him is too difficult, as demonstrated in the video below courtesy of findlestick via YouTube.

To quote: Kratos outruns Hermes! Skip the Grapple wall at Hermes.

This skip was a no brainer really, grapple walls in the past have lent themselves for this type of abuse. I'm not really glitching this game yet, will enjoy a few normal runs through it on all difficulties first. But decided to put this speedrun strat up, saves maybe 20-25 seconds (guessing tho).

To do the skip you need to:

1. Roll towards the grapple wall and Kratos...
