Video: Renegade Ops PS3 Game Modes Trailer, Meet The Team 50°
186w ago - Today Sega Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has made available a new Renegade Ops PS3 game modes trailer video alongside details on the team, as follows:

I'm here today to give you the low-down on the game, introduce the team that you'll becoming familiar with, and basically let you know just how damn awesome the whole thing is!

Before I get into the narrative meat, I'll run you through the core of the game; it's a top-down twin-stick shooter, which sees you take control of one of four character specific vehicles.

Each vehicle comes with its own set of attributes and specific play-style, all of which hinges around the special ability of each character. This is all focused around one thrilling campaign that can be tackled in single-player, two-player split-screen, and four player co-operative/competitive (co-opertition as we like to call it) modes.

You'll be working on levelling up your character of choice, unlocking various upgrades, and ultimately hitting the highest rank and ensure your place at the top of the online leader boards.

With the world cowering to the tyrannical madman that is Inferno, and with his impending global dominance on the horizon, it's through a self-imposed purpose to rid the globe of this menace that we join the Renegades....

Video: Sideway: New York PSN Trailer, Hands-on at Comic-Con 50°
189w ago - Playbrains Studio Director Scott Simpson has unveiled the first Sideway: New York PSN video trailer today alongside some hands-on details from Comic-Con 2011.

To quote: Sideway is our upcoming action platformer based on the in-development cartoon series from the wonderfully twisted minds at Fuel Entertainment.

Oh, did the screenshots convey that we have hours of mindbending levels full of danger and challenge that will make the paint run from your veins?

Or that we support drop-in, drop-out couch co-op so you can play with your friends or that the bosses in the game are unlike any you've come across in your gaming life before?

Did the shots at least convey the basic conceit of the game: that you painted over the wrong dude's tag, and that you, in fact, are now a moving 2D painting in a 3D world?

Regardless, if you're interested in seeing what all of the above is really like, we're just putting the finishing touches on a demo for Comic-Con this week in San Diego. Oh yes, my friends, that's right--when you come by Sony Online Entertainment at the Con (Booth #4436), not only can you check out the awesomeness that is Sideway, but you can also...

Video: Payday: The Heist Q&A Detailed and PS3 Trailer Revealed

Video: Payday: The Heist Q&A Detailed and PS3 Trailer Revealed 100°
189w ago - Today Sony Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has revealed a new PS3 trailer video for The Heist alongside details via Q&A session.

To quote: After going hands on with PAYDAY, media referred to it as "Left 4 Dead with Banks" and "My favorite discovery of E3." With the game's release scheduled for later this year, we had some questions of our own. Fortunately, OVERKILL obliged, with creative director Simon Vicklund providing detailed answers about the game, as well as this new trailer.

PlayStation.Blog: What was the inspiration for PAYDAY: The Heist? Why was it important to focus on four-player co-op and not going the Left 4 Dead route with 4 v 4?

Simon Vicklund, OVERKILL Software: The idea came from way back - a pet project of sorts for the guys on the team. Part of what eventually caused us to start working on the project was the profound truth that Dane Cook shared when he said that "every guy wants to be part of a heist" - we realized how incredibly accurate that statement is, haha.

Then of course, a lot of inspiration came from several epic Hollywood movie movies such as "Heat", "The...

195w ago - IO Interactive Community Manager Nick Price posted up the debut video trailer today for Hitman: Absolution on PS3 from E3 2011.

To quote: At this very moment, an army of hard-working team members are into the second day of presenting what is a true labor of love for IO Interactive - Hitman: Absolution.

The knowledge that millions of fans have been waiting for news on Hitman is making the guys give it everything they have to present a game that we're extremely proud of at IO. Lifting the veil on the development of a new game is always fun but given the connection between the studio and Hitman, this time it's more exciting than ever.

And the debut trailer? Well, see for yourself. Agent 47, the world's deadliest assassin, returns to take on his most dangerous contract ever. This time, he finds himself betrayed by the people he trusted and must use every skill and talent he has available to claw his way out of a dark conspiracy, which takes him through a corrupt world of twisted enemies. Thankfully, 47 is a resourceful individual and nothing will stand in his way for long.

When you're creating a game with the scope of Hitman: Absolution, you don't...

Video: Starhawk PS3 E3 2011 Trailer is Now Available 50°
195w ago - SCEA Senior Producer Harvard Bonin has made available a video trailer from E3 2011 of Starhawk for the PS3 entertainment system.

To quote: E3 is upon us and Dylan, myself and a number of the LightBox team members are all in Los Angeles and excited to be showing off Starhawk in the PlayStation booth.

Up until now we've given you a small taste of gameplay, touched on our Build & Battle system, and shown you a snippet of multiplayer action from a tourney we did at LightBox–now it's time to get fancy.

Our E3 2011 trailer formally introduces you to the exciting new world that is the Starhawk universe, including our main character, hired gunslinger Emmett Graves.

As you can see, Emmett must navigate through a brutal playground of large-scale combat where the tide of battle turns all the time, whether you're on land or in the air (YES there will be dogfighting in SPACE!). And with Build & Battle, you have the ability to alter this battlefield how you see fit by calling down base structures, weaponry, or reinforcements with just the touch of a button.

Throughout the solo campaign you'll discover a lot more about Emmett Graves and...
