Today is kind of a big deal because Remote Play is arguably one of the coolest features available on the PLAYSTATION 3... and my personal favorite.

This video will teach you how to set up Remote Play between your PS3 and PSP.

I love being able to show off all of my photos, movies and music saved on my PS3's hard drive on my PSP... and it's a feature completely unique to PlayStation. Enjoy!

PS3Cluster Guide: How to Make a PlayStation 3 SuperComputer

PS3Cluster Guide: How to Make a PlayStation 3 SuperComputer 50°
324w ago - Professor Gaurav Khanna, the man who built a supercomputer out of eight PlayStation 3 consoles tied together has detailed how exactly he accomplished the task.

To quote: Our community guide allows you to set up your own MPI (Message Passing Interface) based supercomputer cluster with the PlayStation 3.

This guide was co-written by Gaurav Khanna, based on his previous work on the Gravity Grid and is a current run-time environment for the research of co-author (Chris Poulin), based on his current work in distributed pattern recognition. We focus on the Fedora 8 distribution, due to prevalence of Fedora and its Cell SDK (3.0) compatibility.

Microsoft's XBox 360 Jasper: Guide on How to Find One

Microsoft's XBox 360 Jasper: Guide on How to Find One 50°
325w ago - Courtesy of Engadget, Ben Heck has recently dissected a Microsoft XBox 360 Jasper console and says that checking the amperage rating near the barcode (you can see through the hole in the packaging) is the most sure-fire way to find a Jasper to date.

In summary, if it says 14.2 amps it's a Falcon unit (65nm CPU, 90nm GPU), 12.1 amps makes it a Jasper unit (65nm CPU, 65nm GPU).

Those interested can check out the full article (linked above) for additional details and complete disassembly documentation with step-by-step pictures.

Below is a picture (click to enlarge) of the XBox 360 packaging hole, with both the Falcon and Jasper differentiation illustrated.
