Sony Recalls LittleBigPlanet Worldwide Release 100°
October 17, 2008 // 6:28 pm - Update 2: SCEA has acknowledged the recall on its PlayStation Blog, apologizing to those offended and for the delay. According to the post, SCEA "will begin shipping LittleBigPlanet to retail in North America the week of October 27th."

October 13, 2008 // 9:43 pm - It all begins here, folks. You're about to be inundated with quality titles from now until Christmas. Dead Space is one we've been eagerly anticipating, so it's great to see its release in the US and Asia this week.

Even better that it'll be waiting for us when we return from TGS. Other notable releases include SOCOM, Rock Revolution and Saints Row 2. When we say "notable," we don't necessarily mean that in a good way. Here's the full release list:

October 5, 2008 // 8:54 pm - Did anyone else think that the Fracture demo wasn't as abysmal as you were expecting? Sure, it was the epitome of mediocre third-person action with a gimmick attached, but at times it was almost fun.

Well the full game is out this week in both the US and Europe and, unless you're a European lego fan with vigilante tendencies, that's pretty much it. Oh, except for basketball. Lots of basketball. Here's the full release list:

Confirmed: LittleBigPlanet IS region-free, worldwide content for all! 200°
August 24, 2008 // 3:20 am - SCE has revealed that the producer of LittleBigPlanet wrongly told journalists that LittleBigPlanet will be region-locked, as previously reported.

Sam_Protagonist (SCE Development) just posted up "This is in fact not the case, and all shared levels in the game will be available worldwide."
