Pringo Dingo Games Reveals Paparazzi Coming to PS4 in February

100°
8w ago - Pringo Dingo Games developer Mike Longley revealed today that Paparazzi is coming to PS4 in February, 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Howdy! This is Pringo Dingo Games! We'd love to present to you our first game, Paparazzi!

Paparazzi is a two-player local multiplayer game where one person plays as the celebrity, and the other plays as their enemy, the paparazzi. It's a frantic game of cat-and-mouse with a humorous twist!

The more photos the paparazzi takes of the celebrity, the more money they get and the less dignity the celebrity has. To gain dignity, the celebrity must collect adoring fans and avoid the camera shots of the paparazzi.

We initially made the game for a game jam centered with the theme of a Matthew McConaughey quote: "Cameras aren't guns. They can't really hurt you." Pringo Dingo Games is a three person studio, and we are incredibly excited about how far we've brought the game since that jam.

Paparazzi will be a downloadable game available through PlayStation Store February 2015 for PS4!

Only $4.99!

11w ago - Versus Evil Community Director Lance James shared a video today on bringing The Banner Saga to PS Vita and PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: The first thing we have to say is "thank you" to every single fan of The Banner Saga who has helped raise the profile of the game and has supported the Stoic team from the start.

Your passion for The Banner Saga and the way you have helped spread the word has been instrumental in the decision to bring this amazing and unique game experience to PS4.

We're also excited and honored to have PlayStation announce that the game is also coming to PS Vita at the recent PlayStation Experience event in Las Vegas this past weekend.

Our friends and partners in crime at Stoic (who just announced The Banner Saga 2 at the Game Awards in Las Vegas last Friday) are some of the nicest, most talented, and dedicated game makers you'll ever meet, and we couldn't be happier for them. The team at Stoic took some time out of their busy schedules to tell you a bit more about the Vita version below.

Being able to bring The Banner Saga to Vita is especially exciting since the fans have been asking for it for a long time, and it's a natural fit for the game as well...

100°
12w ago - Third Party Production Sony Director Gio Corsi announced today at PlayStation Experience that 3PP is bringing more titles to PS Vita!

To quote: Hey PlayStation Fans, throughout 2014 the Third Party Production team has been working with our partners across the game industry to bring all kinds of exciting, diverse and fun titles to our favorite portable powerhouse.

During the PlayStation Experience keynote in Las Vegas, we announced some terrific new titles for the Vita:

The legendary classics Suikoden I & II, the single screen competitive chaos of Towerfall: Ascension, the gorgeous Tactical Strategy RPG The Banner Saga, the ludicrous suburban Octopus simulator Octodad: Dadliest Catch, the craziest time traveling shooter of all time, Super Time Force Ultra and the latest entry in the legendary shambling zombie franchise, Resident Evil Revelations 2.

All this and that's not even including all the other great Vita content we announced, like, Bastion, Darkest Dungeon, Severed, Shovel Knight and Broken Age: the Complete Adventure.

Whether you're into twitchy arcade action, deep strategy games with epic tales, or clumsy mollusks that have trouble with the most basic of tasks, there's...

Video: Severed Coming to PS Vita in Spring 2015, Gameplay Trailer

50°
12w ago - DrinkBox Studios COO Graham Smith announced today that Severed is coming to PS Vita in Spring 2015 with a PlayStation Vita gameplay trailer below.

To quote: Well it is an exciting month, with all the work we've put into our newest game Severed, and the announcement that we'll be launching on the PS Vita this Spring. But let me not get ahead of myself.

The PlayStation community has been unbelievably supportive since we first released the original Guacamelee!, so it was a no brainer to bring Severed to the same fans. The Vita is really a great fit for Severed as the game feels very natural there, taking full advantage of both the D-pad and multi touch screen. We can't wait for Vita owners to try it out!

At this point you're probably wondering "What the heck is Severed?"

In Severed you take control of a one-armed heroine wielding a living sword. Crazy, eh? You'll be using touch based mechanics to employ offensive and defensive techniques against a variety of enemies.

In Severed you gain abilities by wearing Totems - armor pieces that are created from the remains of defeated Bosses. These abilities, such as Sunder, can be used both in combat to destroy enemy defenses and in exploration to...

Video: Tripwire Interactive Bringing Killing Floor 2 to PlayStation 4

12w ago - Tripwire Interactive Vice President Alan Wilson announced today that the time is right for bringing Killing Floor 2 to PS4!

To quote: Hi everyone. Alan Wilson here. I'm the Vice President at Tripwire Interactive.

What I enjoy doing for the company is writing, game design and research, but I also get to do all the crap no-one else wants to do. Except right now, when I get to talk about a huge step for us - Killing Floor 2 on PS4.

Tripwire Interactive was formed about 10 years ago and we released the original Killing Floor on PC in 2009. Since then, we've released a ton of additional content for free, added in some fun DLC, sold nearly 3 million units of the game and about 10 million units of DLC.

In case you're not familiar with Killing Floor, the game is a fun, dark, sometimes humorous take on a first person survival horror. Its really perfect for a console outing. So, we've been asked why we never did console before.

We've actually talked to a number of console teams over the last few years. But there always seemed to be reasons not to do it. One of the biggest for us was our independence. There always used to be a push to have us publish through some big publisher.

And...
