Below are the details, to quote: Happy New Year, PlayStation Nation! I'm really excited to announce our 500GB PS4 bundle will now include The Last of Us: Remastered - at no additional cost.

Experience one of the most critically-acclaimed exclusives that received more than 200 game of the year awards, complete with enhanced visuals and additional content.

If you've managed to hold out on upgrading to PS4 for this long or if you have a stack of gift cards laying around after the holidays, now is the perfect time to get in on the action. This new bundle will begin appearing at participating retailers over the next few days for $399.99.

8w ago - Following up on their PS4 Christmas Theme and today's PlayStation Store Updates, today Sony has made available a free PlayStation Now PS4 Dynamic Theme with details below.

To quote: Sony Computer Entertainment just released a new free PS4 dynamic theme on the PlayStation Store.

The theme, which is dedicated to PlayStation Now, can be found above (or by going to Settings -> Themes -> Find in PlayStation Store directly on your PS4), and weighs 17.9 Mb. It also includes an animated background and custom music.

To sweeten the deal even further, all those who will download the demo before January 31st, will be entered in a contest to win one year of subscription to the service. You can find the official rules of the contest here, but you can access the page only if you live in North America....
 

Sony PlayStation Now Subscription Program: All The PS Now Details

8w ago - Sony Director of Marketing Peter Jamshidi revealed all the details of their new PlayStation Now subscription program today as outlined below!

To quote: You've been able to rent games through PlayStation Now for several months now, but many of you have asked - what about a subscription?

I'm pleased to announce that starting January 13th, we'll launch a subscription service for PlayStation Now that will provide instant and unlimited access to a catalog of more than 100 PS3 games. And since you're using PlayStation Now, you can enjoy the freedom to quickly discover and play a wide range of full games without downloads, installs, or patches (not to mention trips to the store).

The subscription service will be available first on PS4 across North America, and will come to other PlayStation Now enabled devices in the future.

You'll be able to choose from two subscription plans: one month for $19.99, or a three-month package for $44.99 (about $15 per month). The subscription provides access to a large and diverse catalog of PS3 games, ranging from action to RPG and everything in-between. Check out our launch trailer for a sneak peek.

To quote: Hi folks! We're pleased to announce the first major (free!) update to Road Not Taken is hitting your PS4s now! There's a lot of goodies in here, the most notable of which include:

• "Easier" mode and hard mode: many people have told us that while they love the original gameplay and the art in Road Not Taken, the game is simply too difficult for them. After chewing on this feedback for a while, we decided to split the game into two modes, Normal and Hard.

"Hard" is basically our original mode with just a few tweaks; "Normal" is a new mode that is more generous with energy and has less crowded (and therefore less difficult) rooms, among other changes.

In addition, checkpoints are now less punishing to use (in both modes), so players who felt like they were pointless before will hopefully find them more of a tempting gamble now.

• New "just for fun" Timed Mode: try to rescue all the kids within four minutes! You lose time whenever you take damage, and you add time to the clock whenever you eat food and rescue children. Timed Mode has no impact on your career, so it's a great way to enjoy Road Not Taken for a few minutes with limited...
 

RockStar Games: Grand Theft Auto V PS4 is Out Now on PlayStation 4

15w ago - Today R*Q announced that Grand Theft Auto V PS4 is officially out now on PlayStation 4 with details and some risque video footage below.

To quote: Grand Theft Auto V is now available for an entire new generation of players on PlayStation 4.

Players visiting Los Santos and Blaine County on PS4 will experience the all-new First Person Mode, support for up to 30-players in GTA Online, as well as a vast range of major visual and technical upgrades including new weapons, vehicles and activities, wildlife, denser traffic, enhanced damage and weather effects, a tremendous soundtrack update with over 100 additional new songs and much more.

In addition to the increased player count, Grand Theft Auto Online also includes all the existing gameplay upgrades and Rockstar-created content released since its launch on PS3. Existing players can transfer their GTA Online characters and progression to PlayStation 4, and also get access to exclusive new content in both GTAV and GTA Online.
